      least what you should do is untuck the blanket/quilt, flip over and see the bottom side.
      Sheets, pillows, and blanket may look all clean from the top.

      I've been in a 4 star work-booked hotel that had brown stains on the underside of blanket urp :*
      no obvious smell or anything
