Seems ergonomic with a good set of features. Purchased a black one that does not look to 'gamery' and suitable for office work as well. Time will tell how long it lasts. Edit: Thx for helping me reach my dream and breaking my 23 upvote streak =D

a chair strictly for gaming. it guarantees you win more and get more kills and points in your games. dont forget you need a different chair if you want to surf the web, do your homework, etc… I hope your room is big enough to hold all the other specific chairs.

    • It's a black chair with red accents. Bonus points if it has LEDs.

  • Good deal for those in the NT

  • Anyone else tried Secretlab Gaming Chairs? Thoughts?

Make sure you look at the reviews carefully as the company deletes negative reviews on their own website.

    • I've tried them all out. They put thier entire range on display quite regurlarly at IT expos (the ones i frequent around in asia atleast).

I would say theres not much difference between the Secret labs and these Thunder series. The difference i notice is in materials and just the thickness of the padding. Thats it.

  • Good chair to make some thunder, while playing on PC.

Being using it for 3 month now but never use massage function 😊

    • how about the massage chair, any review?

    • Always curious about this, can you feel the massage buttons if they are not on?

  • Deal expired at PCCG but still available at CPL

  • I saw a thunder chair and all I could think of was farts

  • I've got the EC 15 and 35 edition of this and have to say its comfortable to a point bnt theres definitely some noticable problems with it most appear over time (within 1 year of use).

The base cushion is very flat and i wouldnt even say its hard but theres absolutely no absortion or cushioning.
The back removable cushion morphs flat after a month or 2 and continues to get flatter and flatter overtime.
The elastic bands that wrap around the chair pull threads after 6 months.
The top headrest elastic bands overtime just sags and falls behind your back rather than behind the head/neck area.
Theres a lack of soft support from the thighs to the knees.
The length of the base is too long and it extends even further out when you adjust the back rest.
Its not a chair you can lay back in for this reason without putting additional cushions/pillows.
The hydraulic lift wears out overtime and looses about 25% of the maximum hieght.

It often feels like the chair is trying to push me forward rather than relax backward. Its not badly ergonomic i think if i was maybe 20 centimetres taller i wouldnt have the issues with the base length.

Im a 183 centimetres tall and weigh 75kg So these problems arent being caused by me being obesse or anything like that.

    • Yeah the hydraulic lift and base cushioning comments are definitely applicable to this model as well. Good thing this model, however, does not have any elastic bands/removable cushions. The length of the base in this model I assume would be shorter due to no cushion.
