This stuff is amazing, way better than everything else I have tried.

Got to buy a pyrolytic oven next time

    • Does anyone know whether using this product in addition to doing a pyrolytic clean is overkill?

      • +1

I'm not sure the lining of the oven likes normal cleaner if it's a pyrolytic oven. Could use it on the wire racks though that aren't pyrolytic.

      • Says do not use on self cleaning ovens

I use their range too as it does the job.

OzKleen power shower without the spray nozzle is half price as well. I got one today at woolies. 3.40$ for 750ml compared with the one with spray nozzle is 3.40$ for 500ml.

Your product description is much better than the Woolworths one

So many oven cleaner products don't do jack. The few comments here seem very positive. Will give this one a go, esp for half price. Thanks OP.

      Seriously great stuff..

This stuff is amazing, thanks op

  • Can you fit more than one rack into the bag?

    • +9

Yes. The bag is huge. I fit 4 racks in there

      • Excellent. Thanks for that!

      • +1

Completely agree. Comes out S-P-O-T-L-E-S-S. Made me wonder why I waited so long.

And once they were done, I put more through (multiple ovens in that house).

Ticks the cheap-skate box, and less-waste box. Win-Win.

FWIW Put three 900mm racks and two side rails into the bag. Did a great job. Very impressed.

sounds good, should work same on stainless steel bbq grill i hope

    • I've actually never thought about using it on a bbq, interested to see the results

  • +1

This is also awesome cleaning a BBQ grill rack.

  • Ammonia is dirt cheap but this has the bag so I'll give it a try.
Hope it's good for stovetop cast iron grates as they are so hard to clean.

    • +1

The instructions specifically say not to use it with cast iron, so might want to avoid that…….

    • I've used it on grates before and it does work well advises not too but I had no problems

    • Instructions say specifically not too.

And I get A1 results from the dishwasher, anyway. Obviously, every situation is different.

    Good ovening everyone!

    • Oven he thinks he's funny.

Will buy double: one for now & one for when I have to leave this rental!

    Cheers, OP!

  • Aldi usually have it for a similar price every spring.

  • This stuff works. Use this instead of paying an extra $40 for an oven clean on top of cleaner price.

  • I have used this on webber bbq grill plates and its awesome !! takes away all that spraying / brushing / scrubbing etc.. Had no issues with respect to not to use on Cast Iron.

I've done two ovens with this in the last month (moved house) - it worked well on the one that wasn't too grimy, but completely failed with the baked on crud on the second. A $2 steel paint scraper blade from bunnings worked great though, would recommend skipping the chemicals and just going straight for some manual action if you have something seriously dirty to clean..

Also tried their shower power spray, it left residue/streaks and didn't work any better than a normal multi-purpose spray. It's now sitting unused under the sink

  • Soooo this would work okay on stainless steel roasting trays too?

  • I swear by this stuff for oven racks. But a word of warning, the caps of the bottle aren't very tightly sealed. I've had a couple where some of the solution has leaked out.

The worst being when I put my shopping (in plastic bags) down onto my dining table and then got a bit distracted and didn't go to pack it away until about half an hour later. The box had ended up on it's side and the solution had leaked out of the bottle, through the cardboard and plastic bag and put a big chemical burn into the wood. So be careful with this stuff!
