For the premium that you need to pay over 3600 and the only marginal increase in performance, 3600X doesn't seem to be that good of a deal. Rather save up a bit more and go for 3700X.

I'm very happy how that the chiplet design actually translates as almost fix costs per cores, ie, the 3600x, 3700x and 3900x all cost with a dollar or two of each other when you divide the RRP by the number of cores

  Yep, seems like AMD's pricing is based on actual costs rather than some bullshit marketing like some other major processor manufacturers…
