  • Significantly cheaper elsewhere (see gamecafe). Not a bargain.

EDIT The first couple of links on GameCafe are incorrect. However there are still a half dozen places cheaper.

    • A lot of the prices on GameCafe are wrong, and I wouldn't consider retail the same as digital download, which is a considerably different thing. Regardless, I've marked the title to make that clearer.

As far as I know, it's the cheapest on digital download online, but do let me know if you find anywhere cheaper!

    • What is good about gamecafe is the vouchers on the right. 10% off or 3 pounds

  • So from what I can tell this is a steamworks game.

This means that you can register any cd-key for it in Steam, so it doesn't matter where you buy, its the same thing.

Assuming this is correct, I don't think this is the cheapest available as tantryl pointed out.

    • I did already mention the Steam connection in the description. Maybe we can price match if there is any other digital download site - not retail disc that needs to be delivered - selling it cheaper :)

  • The cheapest I can find is around $40 AUD and that isn't a instant cd-key.

I think this is a pretty good deal considering you get it intsantly and its $2 more then the cheapest I could find.

tantryl, it does look like your post is mostly incorrect…

    • I'm curious, which part is incorrect?

EDIT Note: I'll happily remove the neg if I'm convinced it's not a bad deal. Note: Not the same as a good deal. If I think it's about the same, that's good enough for a removal of the neg.

At the moment there are a few places it's cheaper, especially once you use the Zavvi and The Hut vouchers.

  • It's .04 cents cheaper than last time! (and that was a pre-purchase http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/45635 ).

Play the demo before you buy it, found it remarkably craptastic…

I agree with you there. First two games were definitely a lot better. I expected more from Square-Enix and Obsidian, who are undoubtedly one of the biggest names in RPG's.

For what it's worth, the multi-player aspect of the game is definitely worth the $40. If you're into RPGs then give it a try, you might like it, you might not.

Unfortunately they don't ship that to Australia.

That's ok, saw it at The Hut for around the same
