  drip/filter is better if you need to make a batch of coffee for like 4+ people, pods are a pita if you want to make a bunch of them,

  Is this machine you just add grinded coffee beans and press a button and it makes coffee for you and keeps it hot? And any other benefits?

    The timer function is my reason for it. I use them for early morning starts, you fill it up the night before and set the timer for just before your alarm. Waking to fresh brewed coffee really takes the edge ofr

  Note that it also has an 'off' timer. It will turn off approx 90 min after starting a brew. This is not mentioned in the specs, and is not adjustable.

  I love that I can set this on a timer but hate that it won’t keep coffee hot for more than 1.5 hours.

  We have this machine for one person that drinks drip in the house. Works well, has a timer to brew before you get out of bed, have a coffee for breakfast then take the rest in a thermos to work.

  Have been using this machine for more than 4 years now and is still awesome, except for when warming up cold coffee, can take a bit of time to warm up, I mean like half hour or more.
