Clive Anthonys at the Canberra DFO is having a closing down sale. Whilst there isn't much stock left, I did pick up a Garmin GTM 25 traffic receiver for $7.50 marked down from $125.00. There were plenty available.

The GTM 25 is an integrated FM traffic Receiver which provides real time traffic alerts on traffic and road construction tie-ups and sends it to your compatible Garmin navigation device to offer an alternate route. The receiver also acts as an in-vehicle power charger. The GTM 25 traffic receiver is compatible with the nüvi 1000 series and the nüvi 255, 255W, 265, 265W and 500.

Includes a lifetime traffic subscription through Suna Traffic channel which is currently available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra.

    Can this thing be used on a non-Garmin device? Good price… but I don't have a Garmin.

      I don't believe so. It uploads some software to your Garmin GPS to work.

      I did also pick up an 8Gb USB flash drive for $16. Not much stock left, a few cooktops, stereos and settop boxes. By the looks of the store, I would say it will be gone by early next week.

    Went back this afternoon with the intention of buying all of the remaining units to flog them on eBay for a tidy profit but they were all gone!

    curious to know if this works on the Garmin/Asus A50 (nuvifone). I know its not in the compatibility list, but such things are not always up to date, particulary as the A50 is not the standard Garmin product line.
