$280.5 here 9 left in stock!
*edited so link takes you just to ryzen 5 3600

  • Hmm buy now or wait for $250…

    • am waiting for the MAX mobo comes out

      • Hmm interesting I'll have to look into this max business.

        • It's really not a big deal, just a last-gen motherboard with the BIOS upgraded to work with these chips.

          • @Merlict: So just my gaming pro carbon b450 with a bios you can download with a zen+ cpu = max?

@Budju: The max versions come with ryzen 3000 support out of the box so there's no need to update the bios, that's the only difference.

      • They're already out here

    • You reckon it will drop to $250? (within the next 10 days or so)

      • It's probably unlikely. This price is fine really considering the extra time you get with the chip vs waiting.

  • Guys, just a heads up. Right now, if you want to setup a Ryzen 3xxx system, don't try to save money on other parts (by buying cheaper M/B, RAMs).

We have no idea whether it is the BIOS, the motherboard or the RAM, but B450/X470 are unsafe - unless you pair that with high quality RAM modules. If you can wait, I suggest you do, because a lot of people are having issues. Yes, there are people happy with Ryzen 3600, B450 and DDR4-3600 RAM modules, but DDR4-3600 modules aren't exactly cheap. Make sure you buy from a good seller that will accept returns.

Don't just read the nice reviews, do check on issues people are reporting. If given the choice again, I would not have purchased the parts and built a Ryzen 3700X system (which I am still troubleshooting and waiting for replacement parts - hoping the issues will be fixed).

P.S. if your Ryzen 3xxx series system boots quite slowly after a shutdown / power off, it is not correct / normal. Something is still wrong (most likely memory).

    • So you are saying wait for the b550 motherboards?
