Benq 24in LED 1080p 2ms HDMI / DVI-D / VGA Monitor. $189 or $179.55

I saw this monitor advertised in the current Centercom sale and thought it was a pretty good price. My local Centercom was closed on a Sunday so I called in to Officeworks and they had the same item for $289. I had them check stock and then asked for a pricematch.

No issue at all with the pricematch as they checked online and saw the Centercom price and that they had stock. Came out at $179.55 which seems like a bargain price. These monitors are about $210 from local PC stores and more from larger chains but this way I got the warranty support from OW rather than a fight with a local store if something goes wrong with it.

Centercom is an online or walk in chain that may only be located in Vic/Melb so not too sure about pricematch for other areas.

Happy to post OW receipt if it is of use to anyone.

Might get another one for some eyefinity gaming!

    This monitor is also available at mwave for $185.99. And they have a showroom / pickup location. So price match with OW will be $176.69.

    Good deal. Remember that this has a glossy screen so if you have any light sources near this thing you will see reflections. Look for the 2430 if you want matte screen but also remember that the colours are more vibrant on the glossy screen.

      GL2440HM has a matte screen
      The "glossy" from the description refers to the bezel and stand

      In QLD, get 'em to price match umart - they have it for $188. will work out better for you because if they add shipping to centrecom victoria price then you will end up forking out too much.

      For the monitor on Umart QLD click on the moitor & TV tab on the left, select LCD monitor, scroll down past the Benq section (go figure!) and find the LCD Benq Monitor section. It's listed there.

      I disagree. For the price the viewing angles aren't bad at all. And the power efficiency is nice too.

    i finally got one today. Had to go to 2 Office Works.
    The first 1 said they called Centrecom twice today had no stock. Manager said not to call them anymore.
    The second OW i went to, i called Centrecom on speaker phone using my mobile but let the sales rep ask Centrecom if they had stock.
    Think Office Works is getting annoyed with price matching. OW is 2min drive for me and Centrecom 15+
