only downside for me is it’s only wr100 not wr200, but it’s a great desk diver, and has metal band.
might wait for a killer deal on another samurai eg orange one.its also 44mm so its big and its mineral glass but hey, its seiko

Yes, WatchNerd. Also MathNerd and pjc and a few others used to post a lot of watch deals. All in the Penalty Box now, sadly. RIP.

For breaking the rules, as per the wiki in that Penalty Box link I posted. If you mean specific incidents, then I don't know. But I do remember WN & MN used to sometimes get in to "heated arguments" with others in some threads.
@MiniMoo: The moderation of this site has become strange over the years. I've had comments deleted by mods which I scratch my head at. I've seen some of the bigger contributors to this site essentially banned. I think some of these decisions are personal more than about fairly enforcing rules and posting guidelines.
@MiniMoo: In a couple of threads I followed, I saw some blatantly obvious trolling going on. WN was doing the best he could responding to the misinformation.
Seems trolls can shitpost all they like but if the OP retaliates, they cop it.
@tdw: What would be even stranger would be seeing the troll in question posting lamer watch deals themselves a few weeks after…
Damn! That sucks. I bought a few watches from the deals they posted over the years and those three seemed cool individuals to me. Hope they won't be gone forever.
Just like you & many others, I have bought watches based on WN/MN’s recommendations. Their advice & comments offer good insights & are truly valuable. I hope the moderators will take into account mitigating factors such as provocation by trolls and release them from the Penalty Box soon.
I like Seiko brand. It's excellent value for money but this watch is UGLY! (or maybe it's just the photo?)

I agree. It's a great price, but not one of their better designs. The dial is nice, but the hour hand is comically large. And that bezel 😲
I would pay a.little bit more and get the Samurai. I think it's on sale for $329 now at Starbuy.
