PASTA15

First time poster! I jumped on this myself. Was waiting for a better deal than the price jacked Asus cards on eBay ($729 - 15%)

Price after discount with PASTA15 code.

Other sellers have jacked up price and Ninja Buy (and azeshop) had this up earlier out of stock - now back available.
Good price for a card that performs slightly worse than 2070 Super ($1099ish)

Hurry, may go out of stock again

Wait a cpl weeks for AIB models i say

Yeah for those that hate blowers (may be overblown issue tho) and want better cooling - I believe the latest word is 2nd or 3rd week of August. So not long. Though prices may not be this good, we will see!

It's not just about better cooling and better overclocking. The advantage of 2 or 3 fan setups with brands like Asus/Gigabyte/MSI etc, is that they are significantly less noisy. Especially with a custom fan curve.

      • Had some AMD blower cards in the past that were so shockingly loud under load, never again.

        • Or pair it with the Bykski RX 5700 block from PLE if you have a custom loop!

    • Yeah, we're waiting…..

      • Not for much longer. Believe Asrock's confirmed 2nd week of August, and MSI/ASUS have said mid August (least for their lower tier cards) I think.

Can't wait for it, really want to be able to say "buy a 5700xt" without adding in a noise disclaimer, cards are to good to be held down by a dumb cooler.

This card overclocked like a beast and with aib coolers it will get close to a rtx 2080.

Would buy however I have g-sync monitors. So sucks to be me.

Sucks. RTX 2060 Super seems really terribly priced here. $729 RRP for the basic models which is 2070 price. Vs. the 5700XT which is $649. You're paying $80 more for less performance

Yeah.. my money this round has to go to AMD. It beats the 2070S in some games and is not very far behind in others.

    • +1

Guess that's exactly what Nvidia wanted to happen

    • On the opposite side here. Thinking of upgrading from a gtx1070 to this but honestly the g-sync compatible feature has been working pretty nicely so far.

    cmon Mac drivers…

  • nice …

  • Definitely wait for aftermarket coolers. These can get incredibly loud and don't cool well enough as partner coolers.

Probably with the AIB custom design, the new 5700XT will be at least 100 dollars more than the current 670ish price. For brand like Asus, you can expect a 200 dollars price increase…Let's see what the 5700XT Strix cost

Powercolor/XFX/Sapphire should have fine prices. Can't say I'm to fussed on Gigabyte/MSI/ASUS after vega - they'll have to pull off a better card that's reasonably priced for me to consider them.
