50% off Jackson Automatic White Led Nightlights Vertical or Dome Styles - $5 Each @ Woolworths (Online Only)

150

Not sure how the Jackson nightlights compare to the OzB favourite Xiaomi but thought it worth posting based on saving.

Product blurbs:

Vertical style Featuring automatic on/off switching based on ambient light levels and a long-life low-power LED, this nightlight is ideal for use around the home to light children's bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms and more.

Dome style Featuring automatic on/off switching based on ambient light levels and a long-life low-power LED, this nightlight is ideal for use around the home to light children's bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms and more. Additionally, this model features a rotatable lens to allow the light to be directed as needed.

buyer beware, Dome Style is pretty Dim light (I don't like it), Vertical one is usable. Bought both in last year.

    • No reviews online when I posted so thanks for the review thsydney

    • What’s the wattage on the3m?

I’ve got similar looking (different brand) ones.
The dome (0.2watts) is perfect for the kids room, so it’s just enough light to see where tyou’re going, but not enough to keep them awake.
The vertical one we have in our bathroom (0.5w) is perfect for the bathroom. You can see the funny, the basin, etc but not as harsh as the light bulb, so doesn’t fully wake you.

The nice thing is they both us bugger-all electricity, I think the bathroom one uses less then 5c/mth

good enough to aim correctly ?

When I stand on tippy toes & the end is touching the water, I know I’m in.

  • Keep on, with the force don't stop.

I use similar night lights to remind me that I've left something powered on, like a printer or battery charger.

Plug the device and a night light into a double adaptor, and plug the double adaptor into a switched powerboard.

When I go to bed at night, as i switch off the lights, the night light turns on and reminds me.

"Horizontal" double adaptors work best, "vertical" ones make it hard to get to the switch.

    • That’s a great idea <snatched>. We run a humidifier in winter, perfect!

      • If you want your "indicator light" to be on even when the room lights are on, put a bit of black electrical tape over the sensor. If you don't have electrical tape, a band-aid will usually work just as well - with the padding bit over the sensor.
