    Can someone who actually uses sth like this give me an example of what they use it for?

    • -7

      If you have to ask, you don't need it.

      • +43

        I disagree. I personally take inspiration from other people all the time. There are plenty of things I didn't know that would make my life easier until people told me about it.

        • We use a slightly bigger and different shaped one for carrying laundry form the machine to the line… I assume it can carry more than just laundry though lol

        • +2

          Do you really need to be inspired to use a bucket?

          • @topherboi: This is a Holy Basket, not an ordinary bucket.

            I thought it had holes, thus didn't buy…. Stupid mistake that was!

        • Agree, there was a fantastic comment that I wanted to come back to but I can't find after a thousand attempts, which talked about how you can use something as a water repellent on shower screens. The original product I believe was for windscreens.

          • +2

            @DealHunted: This might be about using Rainex! Once your shower screen is really clean (remove as much soap scum as you can), apply the rainex and it'll just bead the water off! Eventually it goes cloudy and you have to redo it, but its good for (in my experience) about 2 weeks (might just have grubby kids though!)

          • @DealHunted: I remember reading that and thinking not was a novel use, but I have never seriously though there's a point in using that on you shower screen

    • Feet, fish, …etc

    • +3

      Not sure but might be good for camping or in a camper van, for washing dishes and such.

      • My question wasn't clear enough, but the "camping" description was probably meant for by car/campervan, etc. I wanted to see if someone who carries their gear uses one of these.

    • +4

      I use one for beach fishing cos its easier to collapse and carry in a bag when walking to the spot and possibly back if i dont catch any fish

      • +10

        But if you walk back to your car with this bucket collapsed, then everyone will know you didn't catch any fish and therefore it turns into a walk of shame lol

        • +4

          eh, you just say 'catch and release'. Or 'got an 93 flattie, but obviously we put those ones back'

        • +4

          "It was too big for my $3 collapsible bucket so I had to throw it back"

    • +1

      Camping and caravaning, washing things (dishes, clothes, dogs, fish, small children) and carrying wet items (see previous list)

      Given space requirements in a camping enviroment, such things need to be collapsable

      i use these for my girlfriends and i pair it with a mop. #cardi

      Who's your worm guy?

    • We use them for a laundry basket, they store really well when not used as well. This one might be a bit on the smaller side for that but it could work still.

    • I use it to wash my airpods from all the earwax from my ear. Also good practice to give the iPhone 13 (poor design) a dunk and a scrub as dust gets into the speakers.

      • Microwave to dry and recharge at the same time?

        • Great idea, it's important to keep the earwax dry and clean.

    • use it to wash baby bottles when traveling

    • +3

      Camper or boat where storage space is very limited. Folding them in half makes the base wider and more stable. A plastic bucket rolls around like crazy on a boat in a swell. They're a bit heavier and sink faster than a plastic bucket, so you gotta be quick if they go overboard.

      • +2

        Great example of practical use. Cheers

      I buy two to soak my feet. Great during summer.

    • We use them for camping. The collapsable design is great for saving space.

  • Hopefully the others go on clearance aswell

  • can anyone confirm if it comes with the Lid?

    Thanks OP. Was looking for camping. I end up getting "All Set Collapsible Chopping Board" as well

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/all-set-collapsible-chopping-boa…

    • That's a pretty neat invention!

    • How many litres is this?

      • +3

        Judging by the dimensions, probably 15L

        Width = 415 mm

        Height = 135 mm

        Depth = 300 mm

        Volume = 16.81 L

    Is this good for plant potting? If so, I will buy some more. Bought 4.

    Time to throw some of my old painting buckets away

    • +1

      theres no drainage on it, but guess you could drill your own

      • +1

        Right. Still good for laundry and backyard tho.

        Hope not receive another call from Bunnings saying no stock like last time.

      • The chopping board/sink/roaster seems to have drainage

    • I recon grow bags would be better once they hit the shops. These do not have the best shape.

    • +2

      Leave it for someone else to use use it for something else.

      Pick up some free pots to be recycled outside Bunnings and pot whatever you want. Save money and be more sustainable.
