Option 1 (with VPN)-

1) Install the Hoox VPN Addon in Chrome or Firefox
2) Log in/Sign up to a new account.
3) Connect to South Korea
4) Click on this link.

      Same thing happened to me.

      What I did was go to the link without VPN, sign in to my account, then activate the VPN, refresh the page and claimed the game.

    Cool. That is four free Assassin's Creed games now, but the only one I want to play is Origins which has not been cheap enough yet. Will probably give Black Flag a run one day due to the great reviews.

    I did this on my android phone (Firefox browser)… steps below:

    1) (without using the vpn) open a tab and login to uPlay account https://account.ubisoft.com/
    2) install / enable hoox VPN addon https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hoxx-vpn-prox… (sign-up if necessary)
    3) open another tab with the linked page https://register.ubisoft.com/Assassins-Creed-Brotherhood/en-…
    4) click add.

    I could install the game without VPN.

      I was unable to redeem the offer using Option 1
      as listed above and kept getting this page error.

      I was however able to successfully install and activate the game using Option 2 (but you must use a VPN service connected to S. Korea).
      Steps I did were as follows:

      Make sure you do not have Uplay Desktop client signed in or running in the background

      1) Start your VPN service (I use ExpressVPN desktop client) and connect to S. Korea server
      2) Logged into my Uplay online account
      3) Launched Uplay Desktop client and signed in
      4) Open the URL to the KR store's game page Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
      5) Clicked on the Blue Button
      6) Clicked on the Left Option (dialog popup box)
      7) This then immediately added the game to my Uplay Desktop account and began to download
      8) Launched the game (with VPN still connected) after download

      I played for a bit then exited the game and signed out of Uplay (desktop client) and closed Uplay down completely.
      This was to ensure that the installation was completely done and no other "updates or other files" need to be called prior to the game running which could then check the license (I'm speculating here).

      9) Then disconnected my VPN connection
      10) Opened Uplay Desktop client and signed in again
      11) Ran the game and it loaded fine without issue and I was not prompted to enter in a license key.

    Got it, thank you for the deal!

    1) Create a spam 10 minute email: https://10minutemail.com/10MinuteMail/index.html

    2) Install Hoox and create account using spam email, verify email.

    3) Log in to Uplay BEFORE turning VPN on. Ensure Uplay client on desktop is closed.

    4) Connect to South Korea

    5) Go to link and you should already be logged in from step 4.

    6) Click on link, follow the prompts (from memory there were only 1 or 2 buttons I clicked), game should be claimed from the browser.

    7) Confirm you have added the game by opening desktop client.

    Note: If your Uplay client pops up asking you to input product code, you've done it wrong and I've done it before I typed up my instructions.

    8) Enjoy the game!

    9) Remove the chrome addon

        The game should still be owned by your normal Ubisoft account on your normal email address - it's just the account for the VPN you're creating with the throwaway email address.

      1 is only good if you've never played any of the others, gets quite repetitive, but good introduction to the series.

      2, brotherhood, revelations in that order should be treated as one game
      Has by far one of the most charismatic and loved protagonists

      Black Flag
      Also a very wonderfully written story + protagonist + sea shanties

      Rogue
      Pretty good addon game to Black Flag

      Unity
      Some of the best Parkour in any of the games

      Origins + Free DLC
      Transitions the game in a whole new direction and is possibly my second favourite.

      ==================================================

      Play these at your own discretion, 3 would be the only one I could recommend.

      3 - Protagonist is garbage, fun game play
      Syndicate - Garbage story, male protagonist is an imbecile, Evie is good to play through as though
      Odyssey - Story has nothing with Assassins Creed tbh. Protagonists are kind of 50/50, I didnt really care about them by the end. Story is so whishy washy. Absolute grind fest in terms of gameplay. Microtransactions.

          Tell me about it. I have a ryzen 1600 and gtx1070. Not a great system but should be okay for a game like that @1080p (I thought). To my suprise not even turning down the settings helped with the stutters and low fps I had.

            @Ostrk: 6700k, GTX 1080 sub 30 fps in the bigger cities on 1080p ultra. Think the game must want 6 cores.

          I'm running ultra settings quite smooth on a 34" ultra wide with an Nvidia 1080 8th gen I5 and a NVM drive looks good but struggles on ultra high or what ever it's called plus the climbing is a bit buggy on this game. Can't complain but even on this setting the game is miles ahead compared to ps4..

    Brotherhood is the only Ass Creed game I'm missing in the second game's storyline. I just used a Sth Korean server from my own VPN service and it worked.

    Now I have every game from numbers 1-4 and Unity.

    1) VPN to South Korea (I use Nord)
    2) Open U-Play and sign in.
    3) It came up immediately with the option to pick the game up for free (as it has done for previous releases in Oz).
