  English for all pro is a really great app. It is basically flash cards of words with pictures and you click to hear it spoken. It has really clear pictures and is not American English, though a few words are also quite specifically British English that Aussies would never use.

  It would be good for people who are learning English as a second language, or could also be useful for kids or people with intellectual disabilities.

  I personally use it with some people I work with who have had a stroke and are having difficulty with word recall (expressive Apshasia).

  I would also recommend the free "Tiny Cards" if you want more, different, more difficult. Tiny cards is also available on iOS/Apple devices. It is also good for learning other languages or any memorisation stuff (rote learning biology, science terms, history etc) as people have made thousands of card sets freely available.
