The Campmaster Single Burner Butane Deluxe Stove Kit features a vitreous enamel drip tray and powder coated body with burner flame windshield. The stove kit comes in a specially designed carry case with clip in slots for additional 2 x 220g butane canisters.

The kit contains:

      You should never use these indoors, therefore almost no risk to the house.

      Not if you combine them with a Rim vent safety butane can. (Which all new Australian cans are)

      What it means is that if everything fails it will catch fire, rather then explode.

        Also don't put a pan\pot etc that is too big. It was the excess heat getting redirected over to the can side that was the danger.
        And if you do, at the very least offset the pan to the non-can side.

      Had a moment with one myself & went exploring for issues online, found out numerous models were recalled or banned including the model I had. New models are probably OK now but I'm very wary of these types of burners now.

        Even the terrible recalled models were due to user error.

        Personally I like my gas burners to be idiot proof so I gave mine away and got a new one with safety features and new cans with the Rim vent safety.

    Back to $99 at Bunnings. But Kmart have this exact same kit, still for $49.
    Mate bought one today, it's identical to the Bunnings one.
