  • Can the Kayo gift cards be used for existing active accounts or only new signups?

    • +2

Never ever heard of gift cards being used only for new sign ups.

    • Active accounts are fine for us. I have used one recently.

    • They add to existing just fine

  • I think I read it somewhere before, but the Spotify GCs can't be used on Spotify on Family, is that correct?

    • +1

There is a work around here: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Accounts/Spotify-Family-Red…

But you have to change to premium first to apply the gift card and then change back to family. I haven't tried it and I'm scared to try it cos then I'd have to add my family back to my account.

It seems you are correct on that one. There is a workaround apparently which is to downgrade your family plan to the premium plan, apply the gift cards and then upgrade and set up family users again. Seems like too much effort for my liking.

  • So are these gift cards sold in pre determined amounts or are they custom? Just asking as there is a limit to how many you can buy

Better off using iTunes gift cards for Kayo, 15 % off if you have Apple gear. Subscribe via the app or apple tv.

  • Does anyone knows what is the expiry date of Catch and kayo cards.

    • +2

      Catch:

All Gift Cards expire 3 years from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated on the Gift Card.

      Keyo:

This card will expire 36 months from the issue date.

  • So i can use one of these 10% catch cards so i can a further 10% off that $109 ASUS I7 mini PC?

Try to shop with Cashrewards for additional cashback. I'm unsure whether cashback applies to the gift cards or not.

    • 1.5% cashback applies to gift cards yes (category/group B items).

  • so use cashrewards to buy the gift cards from aus post, then use cashrewards + gift cards to purchase from catch (plus join their club on 30day free trial)?

    Sounds like a bargain!

  • received my catch cards today, Australia post didn't load any money on it sigh… Have to go visit a shop

    • My bad. You have to call 1800331794 option 2 to activate
