  • Was just about to post. Beat me to it. I think New Balance is not new.

    • Thanks, updated.

Woke up. Saw offer. Save offer. Now back to sleep.

    • +1

Why bother? You're probably too awake now. Should have just gone back to sleep :p

(No disrespect to forumninja whom is a star ozbargainer)

      Name checks out …

If the Country Road offer ends on the 28th, that must mean for Sydneysiders and Melburnians (and those visiting during the time), the Vogue Amex offer starts on the 29th (to prevent double-dipping on the Country Road offer, who usually participate in the Vogue Amex offer)

  • Do you have the Manual link for Country Road ninja?

  • +1

Is anybody else actually annoyed at the frequency Net-A-Porter shows up?

Edit: I think I'm combining them with some other meh store in my head. Doing an OzB search but can't quite work out who. Maybe I'm just an idiot.

    • +19

I'm annoyed and the general downward spiral of the quality of Amex offers. Their tactic this year seems to be to do loads of rubbish offers rather than fewer really good ones. The amount of offers I've not used (and I've not saved nearly as many) is about 90%.

      • +1

yup agree with you was about to close my Amex, end up decreasing it to 2k for just in case offers

      • Think 2017 was the golden year of offers.

        • Agreed I have been a member since 2014, sad to say they aren't they used to be

  • Does the click energy offer work when paying an existing bill?

    • see my post below:)

  • +5

    Sweet!

Anyone on Click Energy you don't need to switch again or do any BS like that. Just log in to your My Account, click Pay my bill (even if $0 owing), set payment amount to $100 and submit your amex card #. Email rec'd straight away saying they have tracked my payment and $30 coming my way.

    • any good offers on Click energy, currently with Lumo from last Amex offer, paying 30% off on usage + tariff

      • +3

I highly recommend NOT switching to click energy. It was cheaper than origin by only a few dollars but has been constant trouble for me particularly as they do monthly instalments based on estimate - i threatened to leave if they didnt only bill me on actuals and they finally agreed to change. This is how they trick people into staying/as the discount never reconciles. Also I have a smart meter and the reporting is terrible.

        • Thanks for the heads up 👍

        • I'm with Click Energy and they've been fine. They take monthly instalments, but you get an adjustment on the 3rd month when they actually do your meter readings which is done by Energex. They don't read your meter every month, at least not where I live.

        • Is click energy / Amaysim the same thing? I'm signed up with Amaysim. Trying to work out if it's worth pre paying the $100

    • +2

Thanks, may need to switch again after my red energy credit finished

      • That is what I am thinking as well.

    • -1

What do you mean, of course you need an account with them to use the offer.

  • Didn't get the country road offer, which would be useful, I wonder what determines whether you get a targeted offer?

    • Algorithm

      • +7

Always thought it was a dartboard that they throw names at.

      • I thought it was if it was used previously, all offers that I have redeemed Don't appear for me anymore

  • Too bad AMEX Qantas Ultimate doesn't have rental car cover, so I have to use other card to pay Avis…

    • which card has this cover?

    • Too bad AMEX Qantas Ultimate doesn't have rental car cover, so I have to use other card to pay Avis…

Most rental companies, including avis, let you swap out the card before you close out the rental agreement. It's a common trick for getting insurance from one car, but then paying with another card to get more points, etc, after an incident free rental.

  • Is click energy any good? I am with AGL and getting some discount but this amex offer is quite nice.

    • Compare your AGL rates with click energy before switching.

    • If you have this offer on multiple amex cards, then it's worth switching for the 30% discount. Prepay $100 on all your cards, then switch to a cheaper retailer once your prepaid credit is exhausted. If switching, do it ASAP as Click Energy may need to read your meter before issuing the first invoice (which might take a few months)

      • Does Click issue monthly or quarterly bills?

        • I've heard it's monthly

  • +12

    For click energy:
Sign up using $50 gift card bonus, then pay with AMEX. That's $80 saving.

  • Thanks OP

  • Anyone would know If net a porter gifts cards can be included?

  • +1

Is there manual link for click energy?

  • Click which plan better re Solar (<2k W inverter)-lower usage &supply charges or higher feedin tarriff?

    • Do a quote for both!

  • Thanks op, my click energy account was in credit but paid $100 anyway.
