While you can get these to work, they are a pain to own as they randomly disconnect, they freeze, have to be re-setup randomly, have security holes galore :(

I'm slowly replacing with Reolink after having a few of these, they do work for a few days but not reliable one bit.

    • Are you referring to all wifi cameras or just this brand? I have a Xioami that has been pretty reliable to this point

      • Specifically this Model of this Brand, plus their other "Shark" model too.

Xioami are great, just this brand is a tad flakey.

Their Alarm system is working great for me tho, so it's not all their products.

Digoo just re-brand generic cameras most of the time anyway.

        • Yeah alright - my Xioami was about double the price, but reliability is the key with a camera so happy with that. Thanks

      • Really? I have a couple of the cheap xiaomi cameras and they are a PITA to use. I can't get fanghacks to work, so I'm restricted to using the xiaomi home software - which gets frequent updates and tends to break things all the time. Also, they record to the SD cards in 1 minute segments - which makes it a huge hassle to actually view the footage after the fact. The xiaomi's are worth the ~$20 I paid for them at the time, but not much more.

        • I don't record anything, I use mine as a baby monitor. But mine isn't the $20 one, it's the $45-$50 one, can't remember the model off the top of my head.

    • I'm also using Reolink, with 2 outdoor camera and one Argus 2 on the way. While the image quality is good and software works properly, I do have a bone to pick with their quality of screws. One of my camera has the screw stripped on the micro SD card slot, luckily I purchased via Amazon so Reolink replaced it within 2 days contacted. I checked around and it was also one of the issues reviewers tend to complain about.
