Philips 3000 Series 9-in-1 Face & Hair Multigroom Kit $29.95 + $9.95 Delivery ($0 with Shipster/ C&C*) @ Shaver Shop

1470
SHAVE10

This deal was posted last week too and seeing the comments there it appears that a few people missed out. I can say from personal experience from last week's deal, if you are thinking of buying one, do so today. It's not going to be there tomorrow at this price. But while saying that, there's the possibility that it might come back again on Wednesday next week.

It looks like Shaver Shop doesn't offer C&C else could've come down to $29.95 after applying the code SHAVE10. *Actually, it's available, but only in selected states/stores.

Good package, it's good on my… package.

    Nice price, too.

  • what the difference between Series 5000 Multigroom 7-in-1 Grooming Kit and the one in the post ? the retail price is the same on shaver shop. https://www.shavershop.com.au/philips/series-5000-multigroom…

edit: all iterations confuse me . is it better to gt one with a mm adjustment on the hand device, or replaceable attachment one?

    • +1

I found that with my previous clippers which had a roller adjustment that occasionally I would hit that rather than the on/off switch as intended.

Which meant that I had to go over the whole lot again to get it even. Basically my lack of attention rather than an inherent fault with the clippers.

      • I have the one with the mm roller adjustment and works great. The retail price is the same but only 25% discount while the other model gets a 50% discount.

  • Nice price. ~$55 to $59 elsewhere.

  • +1

I brought one from Shaver shop Ebay store if you have Ebay plus you get free shipping!

  • Thanks, bought one, used the SHAVE 10 code so 39.90 delivered.

Good timing too, as my old clippers battery has finally died.

    • Same

  • any opinions? durability? performance on beards?

  • I ordered one and it was only $29.95 delivered using code shave 10.

  • +1

Free shipping with Shipster.. Got it for $29.95 including shipping.

    • …didnt shipster end july 31st?

      • I vaguely remember receiving an email from them stating there was 4 more months or so before it was going to be cancelled. Something like that anyway.

  • Ahh ok that's why it was only $29.95. Hooray for shipster.

  • Thanks OP, got one. :) I have Philips body shaver which is terrible let's see how dose this one works :)

  • +3

Bought one at $29.95, thanks OP. And thanks to shipster for unexpected free shipping.

  • I paid $79.95 for the 7000 Series some months ago. Very happy with it, battery is amazing.

  • Where do you buy replacement blades for Philips thingies like this?

    • +1

You dont, you are expected to just chuck it out and get a new one. Ever since hard wired batteries became the norm replacement parts have become so expensive that they are sometimes more than the entire unit when its on sale

      • +1

        ah oktyvm for that info

the last philips one i had tho - the battery did run flat but when you plugged it in it actually worked at full power so it didnt really need the battery tbh so it's a bit of a shame to throw that out

        • +1

Its a shame to throw anything out that can be fixed, as such I have a drawer full of repair projects that one day so will pull out and renew, but increassinly it feels like I will have to retire before it becomes worth it :( in the meantime I can add value to my house, refi home loans, educate family at etc for a greater return on investment that fixing that old hair clipper.

  • Shipped already. That was quick!

  • I've never understood why they don't do pick up an as option? I had a product posted from the other side of the city and it took 4 days to arrive. I could of driven there in half an hour and grabbed it myself.

    • +2

Could have. You could have driven there in half an hour and grabbed it yourself.

      • However, no new discount and cashback if I decided to do that? Hence pick up option online needed. :/

  • +1

Amazon Australia is selling Philips series 5000 11 in 1 multigroom for $59. Can anyone advice which one is a better buy? Thanks.

    • +1

Well the 5000 is waterproof, the 3000 you need to detach the attachments to clean them

    • 7% Cashback I believe too

  • How did people use shipster - looks like it's no longer available? https://auspost.com.au/shipster/

    • If you signed up to shaver shop with the same email you used for shipster, it applies automatically. There might be another way but I'm not sure.

  • shipster dead but still working, nice!

  • bought thanks

  • whats it like for body hair as in a descent rug :)

  • Thanks
    Ordered 2

  • Does this do stubble looks? This or AquaTouch series?

    • -1

      yes

  • +2

is this good for shaving your dick and balls ?

    • what length you got :0

    • +12

Why would I let you shave my dick and balls?

      • Precisely what I was thinking!

        • +2

Hang on. Why are you thinking of shaving my dick and balls too?

  • Last time was free shipping over $30 which was value now free shipping only over $100 only. Still a good price but food for thoughts if its getting outdated and maybe a massive price drop soon maybe?

  • +1

Yay my first order with Shipster!

  • +1

Same, my first order with shipster. thnx for this deal, looks great!

  • +1

Great deal, thanks for the shipster tip! Finally a use for it

  • Thank OP, was looking for a basic nose-hair trimmer. Considering even the cheap ones are about $20 I may as well try this for $9 more and get all the manscaping attachments.

Also, I feel like I've unwittingly used Shipster more times since it ended than I have in the past year or however long I've had it…

    • does it hurt? i mean nose-hair trimmer; does it pull the hair sometimes?

      • IME never

        • Never…

  • Sweet deal. Thanks to Shipster and SHAVE10, got it for $29.95!

  • I have this. Good unit. I use it for beard trimming.

  • Can you shave balls with this

    • +1

Yes, but wouldn't recommend cos if you get the angle wrong, you nick yourself. Better to reduce length with this, then use a blade(s).

      • that was my legit question, occasionally i'll nick myself in that area and obviously it's not ideal. So would you recommend using this on that area not on its shortest setting but on the second shortest or something?

  • Make sure you're signed in :

  • Missed Shipster and got to pay the postage and ordered anyway.

  • Lithium-ion ones are so much better. These take forever to charge

    • How much hair? How long does it take to regrow? I wouldn't have thought charge time would be that big of an issue …

      • +1

The charging time on this is like 16 hours for an hour long charge. You gotta make sure it's plugged in overnight after every use. Woe if you forget to plug it in and the battery runs out, you're stuck with a half trimmed whatever. They don't work if the battery is dead even if it's plugged in, my old one didn't at least.

(Also I'm a freaking sasquatch, you wouldn't believe. Takes me more than an hour to get it all off sometimes.)

The lithium ion ones charge fully in less than an hour and last a couple hours on charge. Takes like 5 minutes to charge enough for a trim if you're desperate.

  • +1

Thanks OP! Hoping this might be a bit better than the ALDI Visage one I've been using for a while now.

  • +1

Anyone know if this REQUIRES the battery or can you plug it in and use it like a corded shaver? The last Philips i had, once the battery ran out, i just ran it like a corded thing and it ran at 100% power so the battery life wasnt such a big deal. Is this like that or is it a throwaway when the battery runs flat?

  • i forgot cashrewards :(

    • +1

Username checks out. Damn looks like you missed out on about $2.10.

      • Actually CR is 92 cents.

        • I thought CR was 7%, my bad.

      • I cancelled my order and ordered again and this time with CR.

        • 92c added to the vault. I'm seriously proud of you!

  • Mine was just delivered. Wow close to 18 hrs after ordering is pretty impressive.

  • +1

I just saw this and ordered, finally getting SHAVE10 code to work after twice registering as a new account.
Regarding the Click and Collect, I rang customer service (03)98405900 and the lovely Renee arranged a C&C for me at the Broadway(Sydney) store and will refund the shipping charge of $9.95. C&C locations are very limited.
With the $10 code and CashRewards I’m up for $29.03. Nice one!

    • I would do this, as last time they shipped via Marion. I don't understand why it's not an available option, rather than have stores have to post it out.

    • Just bought, I was able to select C&C for Broadway store via website.

      • Not available in SA, however it's available at select stores I was told.

They said they could hold it for me, but if I went in store it'd cost the same because new user code and cashback so pointless.

  • Ordered. Thank you

  • the hair comb attachment are useless unless you are a barber. there's no way one can do hardline fade undercut themselves.

    • the shorter ones are necessary for shaving balls tho. The longer ones i agree i'd never use

  • Just what I was looking for, thanks mate!

  • Anyone has managed extending the warranty by registering this at philipps.com/mymulti? This is a paper card inside the box saying about this but I wasn't able to achieve this.

  • I bought Series 7000 for $79 after $10 discount and did a store pick up at Broadway Shopping centre, i was surprised to receive a gift hamper which was $139 worth. Did anyone else had the same experience???

    • How did you organise store pick up?

      • +1

Order online and at the checkout just select store pickup instead of shipping and see if there's any store around you do click and collect

      • Available only in select states/stores.

    • I did not get this. Did they mention anything about a promotion upon pick-up?

  • I guess it was just a store promotion , it wasn't mentioned anywhere.
