Nonary Games is really good. Seriously. It's two games in one and tells an engrossing story.

Don't forget Agarest complete collection for $24.63

  • Pixel Junk monsters 2 is also $6.88

Incredible! If you buy the nonary games trilogy, it's only $11.50 as opposed to $14.38. thank you very much for bringing this to our attention OP. Been waiting for these games to go on sale.

I would highly recommend the Nonary Games Triology. Part Visual Novel and Part Puzzle Room.
FYI make sure you play them in order or you will spoil the previous games.

Played the first game on 3DS and my main character died. Might be a good time to revisit and aim for the successful outcome.

        • +1

The first Game on the 3DS might actually be the second one? The first one is on the DS.

The 3DS games has like 27 endings or something.

          • +2

@catbarf: Technically it has one ending…

            • @Zidago: I see you also are a person of culture.

            • @Zidago: Although I saw "the" ending for virtues last reward I've got no idea what happened in other timelines that's still relevant.

              So. Confused.

              • @justtoreply: You had to have seen a bunch of other endings in order to see the true ending. Almost all of them.

                Technically it has one ending…

It has several endings including good endings and bad endings. But only one of them is designated the true or canonical ending. This is true of most visual novels.

                • @lostn: Yeah I worked my way through all the paths due to being OCD. I felt like I was supposed to gain understanding of various info through all the non canonical endings. But i couldn't keep track of it all. And I'm not sure if I recall correctly now but I think the writing was full of unnecessary hyperbole which made it harder to decipher

@catbarf: Sorry for the confusion, I meant playing the DS cartridge on my 3DS. yes, the first game on 3DS was Virtue, which I still haven't played because I am going to replay the 999.

    • I've never seen a trilogy with only two games in it?

"Contains Zero Escape: The Nonary Games and Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma"

      • +1

"The nonary games" contains the first two zero escape games ("Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors" and "Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward")

  • Been waiting for these to go on special.

    Thanks.

  • Also a lot of visual novels on sale CHAOS;CHILD, STEINS;GATE ELITE (but not the original steins;gate for some reason) STEINS;GATE 0 and 428: Shibuya Scramble is 80% off making it $14 so I might finally pick it up.

    • A VN with live actors. I don't know man. Have you tried it?

      • Not yet aha, might get it this sale but won't get time to play it for awhile, currently finishing fire emblem three houses (first route anyway might try new game+) then I need to finish world end syndrome and ever17 before moving to another VN…

        • +1

Ooh, Ever17. You are in for a treat let me just say.

Have some patience. Some people say it's really slow. I didn't find it slow myself because the things it talks about is right up my alley.

But the reward is well worth it. Instead of a mind blowing twist ending like M Night Shyamalan likes to do, imagine you had a bunch of those sprinkled throughout the story.

There is a specific route order I would recommend you play them through. That is to do them in the order the girls are introduced in the OP. Then you have to go through it a fifth time for the true ending, but that is the highlight of the story.

Also check out Remember 11 which is part of the same series but not a sequel to it. I loved that one also.

  • Damnit, I had bought the Nonary Games only a couple months ago, thinking 40% was the biggest discount it would get. 2 months later the discount is double.
