      the colours do look better on the R8 due to their quantum dot tech, but best to check instore yourself to see if it's worth the extra dollars. The RRP difference is $500 between the two, so $200 difference with this deal is pretty good.

        I nearly pulled the trigger on the P8 for $1200 a few weeks ago but didn’t. I want to spend around $1500 and this looks great value

      Lol I’m in the same boat. Been holding off upgrading my old 50” Panasonic plasma. I really don’t want it to seem like a downgrade in picture quality

    Bought one today. Wanted to do pickup, video pro doesn’t have any stock in QLD and was going to be a couple week wait. Harvey Norman price matched $1585 :)

        Just FYI, I upgraded from a 51’’ plasma and have not looked back.
        4K shows on Stan or Netflix are looking great and the colors are much better than I expected (compared to all the comments between OLED and LED/ULED TVs)

        Go into store, spend some time comparing and if you can grab the remote and then play some Netflix/Stan via your mobile (connect TV to internet via mobile). Will take a while to setup but the results are worth it; much more real-life scenario than some demo for playing in a loop on the TV

            Sorry just seen all your requests for a receipt, have got one on my PC ready to go, but can't see where I can attach an image to the message. Also says none of you are accepting new convos.

            Feedback on the TV after a few days (upgraded from a 50" Panasonic Plasma for no reason other than wanting 4K and a larger screen in the lounge) -

            • Happy with the UI/OS. Boot times seem great.
            • Tested the picture quality with Netflix, xbox one x, Fetch TV for the kids cartoons, FTA Rugby and I'm impressed with all of it.
            • Remote is nice, for whatever reason I got two remotes in the box? One is larger then the other but they seem to have identical buttons?

            On the hunt now for a soundbar to handle all my HDMI devices with 4k 60hz pass through, my old amp doesnt pass 4K through to the xbox :(
