Are they free no price in title.

  • Showing as $17.03 in cart

    • Problem resolved, corrected deal link.

Just a heads up, I signed up for Prime which charged me $6.99 for the month.
I ordered, then within 10 mins cancelled my Prime. It ended up refunding me $6.77…
….so overall, I got charged 1-days worth of membership (22-25 cents), guess that's fair.

        • +3

Yep I've done this before too.. But from memory when I cancelled same day I got a full refund.

However I ended up signing up with prime for an annual subscription anyway. It's great value.

          • @edrift: Yeah, this is my second time.
The first time I only signed up and cancelled without buying anything… it was just for JB Hifi to price match something ; )

  • Long dispatch, but grabbed 2, thanks OP.

    • my dispatch time was like 2 days?

    • just checked my estimated time arrival is Wednesday.

      • Mine is 1-2 months :/

  • +9

Why? I wouldn't know what to do with all the useful tools missing. I'd probably put it up on buynothing. Then it could sit in someone else's draw unused.

Might be ok for someone that just wants a nail file.

    • +3

Might be ok for someone that just wants a nail file.

Pretty sure you can get a better nail file at Priceline for under $10.

    • I have a lot of Chinese friends who like Swiss things.
A genuine Swiss Army Knife was very hard to get and is expensive.

      • it's not a genuine Swiss Army Knife if it doesn't have a corkscrew.

        • +2

with or without the mini screwdriver insert?

        • That's must, that is why I cancelled my order.

      • +1

So.. It's a status symbol rather than a utility knife?

(Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be rude. And it's a bargain, but I couldn't make use of a knife with less than my deluxe tinker)

It's hard to get in China.. So you can't order this kind of stuff online there? Genuinely curious.

        • +1

He may be referring to a genuine “Swiss Army knife” issued to people serving in the Swiss Army. That is, a Soldier knife 08.

    • +7

      +1 for supporting the BuyNothingProject!

    • +2

Agreed. A fairly useless knife, a fairly useless nail file, a fairly disgusting tooth pick, and some tweezers which are better than nothing if you desperately need some.

I either carry something useful (leatherman charge) or don't bother.

  • Grabbed 2 cheers OP

  • Ah why not. Got 1

  • +13

Whoah this one costs a little more: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B000JC19FE

    • That looks so comical almost like fake 😛

    • +4

OMG the reviews on that one. hahahaha

    • That's just taking the p***. It's like the Swiss Army Knife of razors.

    • For $320 more, you can have the gift box too

    • Review from Amazon.

Left it in my pocket when i washed my pants. Came back and it disasembled the entire washing machine. Good buy.

  • +10

I bet it’ll be delivered in a box the size of a large microwave with lots of plastic air bubble.

    • +2

My kids made cubby houses out of the boxes the toilet paper and paper towel came in.

      • I made a castle for my 2.5yo between amazon and myer (lego) purchases

  • Thanks OP

    Just nabbed myself 3 pce

  • +16

I have just realized the fourth image Amazon is using with this Swiss Army Knife is misleading. That picture is of a full-size Swiss Army Knife, whereas this one is the tiniest one that has nowhere near all the functions the bigger one has. Here's a video of this small one.

    • Looks like what you’re saying is true, however even in the product description, it’s described to have a screwdriver, toothpick, a tweezer and other stuff too.
      Confused. .-.

      • +6

Tweezer and toothpick are inside the scales. Screwdriver is the end of the nail file.

        • +2

Yes, it's a screwdriver in the same way that a butter knife is a screw driver.

    • +1

I was misled by that picture indeed, saw that and ordered. Now have cancelled the order. Thanks for saving me $10.

      • Yes I ordered last time expecting to get what shows is 4th pic, it is totally misleading, this is very small, shorter than some USBs,, if you are purchasing make sure to check the size

  • +6

Don’t do what Donny Don’t does

  • Lemmings.

  • I've had about 10 of this exact one in my life, yet never purchased it. I think they just materialized on the roof of my workplace and eventually push themselves off and by chance fall into the pockets of workers - because they aren't overly useful

  • +2

looks about the size that it should be part of the coles minis promotion.

and if i put it on my key ring then it’s more stuff in the pocket.

wish this had a normal size swizzled army knife blade.

  • +3

Swiss made pocket knife with 6 functions: blade small, nail file, screwdriver 2.5 mm, key ring, toothpick, tweezers

Oh come on can't put key ring as function…..

  • Just curious, with Vic knife laws are you allowed to carry it (or any knife) with you (assuming it's not needed as a profession)?

    • +1

It's legal but you need to have guardian supervising you at all times.
Just like in the UK and needing a Spoon License.

  • Grabbed 2. Will get em on Sept. Thx OP.

  • -7

These are fakes can’t be so cheap.

  • Are there any similar alternatives with a bottle opener as well?

    • +1

Look for one of the following: Manager, Rambler, Rally, Rogue, Rover

  • +1

Well, obviously the seller didn't send the 6 function model, though the images and descriptions saying 6 function, the item I got is actually 2 functions

    • How do you know it’s fake

      • It's dirty, plus the blade has kind of water taints, and it seems some damage on the blade . I just saying it looks like fake, doesn't have good quality

  • +2

fake, not as pictured or described.

    • +1

I've submitted my review and send this shit back to the seller

  • +1

Got the delivery today. Has only a knife blade, nail filer, tweezer and toothpick. There's a 2.5 mm 'screwdriver' on top of the filer. Two out of four pictures on Amazon clearly show a full sized Swiss knife with more functions than this one. Me, being dumb enough, bought two thinking they were actually of that size. Returned to this thread and saw others were mislead too. Not fair. Will probably return.

    • +1

Left a bad review on Amazon.

      • +1

It seems you do get some multi function model in your shipping.

What I have got is just two function model.

What kind of bad seller is this Knives Online Australia?

Do they really think they can get away with this sending this shit to the customers on Amazon?

They are going to rack up huge numbers of neg feedbacks and returning cost

Maybe they think people are lazy, not worth the time to return the $9 knife and you need to go to the post office.

When I buy from Amazon US, and return stuff, the mail man come to me.

When I buy from Aamazon US, the customer representative would credit me for price difference if I saw something is cheaper elsewhere, but on Amazon AU, I was just left with words you can cancel order or return an order if you don't like, but you have to pay return cost and go to the post office. too bad. must be some idiots running Amazon Australia

        • +1

I think your knife would have the toothpick and tweezer as well but they are discrete. If you look on the other side of the key ring, you will see two little buttons (white and grey). You just gotta pull them out.

You are absolutely right about Amazon AU's service. I have been a prime member since the introduction of amazing in Australia but I have not seen any significant improvement since then.

  • They didn't approve my negative feedback, apparently didn't meet their guidelines.

All I said was that they are misleading and not sending you what they advertised and included a screenshot of the full Swiss army knife.

    • Exactly same thing happened to me. Very true review with screen shots, but said oh sorry your review does not meet our guideline so we can't approve that.

      Amazon Australia is shit.
