Gotta be the ugliest keyboard ive ever seen lmao. Thing looks ancient

The keyboard IS ancient, I have one that must be 10 years old now!
But it has been through hell in those 10 years with kids standing on it and throwing it across the room.
      Great battery life.

    • The sacrifices people make for ergonomics. Not a keyboard for myself either, but someone else may value it like their own child?

    • I owned this keyboard 10 years ago and the keys were freaking hard to click. I am super curious of how it is like today with this perhaps updated/new variant?

      • My keys are too soft (ie there is not enough resistance for my liking) are you saying your keys are over-resistant?

        • Oh yes, 100% over-resistant.

And it's not just that, each key/keycap was designed or laid out to match the ergonomic "wave" shape/style of the keyboard base and so that some of the (key) travels couldn't give you a straight down or easy to click feeling like the normal keyboards would give you.

I think I managed to find a reference link - it was called "Wave Keyboard" and was the most failed Logitech (high-end?) product I have owned in the past.

I am pretty sure that the new one (K550?) don't have this problem though as you've mentioned that they are too soft.

@beOson: Mine is also 10 years old, WAVE Keyboard rings a bell, sounds like you got a dodgy unit.

    • Sorry - fixed

There seems to be a small-but-committed fan base for these things. Not for me though, I'm into all that RGB shyte now.

    • Not for me though, I'm into all that RGB swag now.

  • The mouse is a good one, M510 good proper size

  • Hmm mk850 seems a better buy based on reviews was $100 recently in the 20% eBay sale.

    Hmmmm can't decide.

  • Anyone have a spare coupon code, to save me signing up (which is taking some time for a reply) ?
    TIA.

Is your PM turned on? I can't see where to message you directly.

      • Thanks! It is now.

          Done.

  • Comfortable to type on and battery life lasts forever. But the mouse is really uncomfortable and the keys started to stick after about 6 years of use. YMMV.

  • Not going to use my code, free to good home. Please comment if you've used it so no one else tries.

    • Every one has code :)

Even if you go to any jb hifi they will sell At advertised price without barcode.

  • I have one of these keyboard and mouse. Comfortable keyboard and the keys are ok to press. It's slightly bulky though with the wrist suppor thing. the mouse is also pretty average - I just use the logitech anywhere 2S mouse instead. Decent price at $64.00 but I wouldn't pay anymore than that.

  • Same deal now on Amazon Prime for any who are keen!
