Just received my order. It is a very good drop, rivalling $15 Shiraz wines. It still can't match the wines I named above, but those are 2.5 to 4x the price. I am very happy that I took a punt and purchased 3 cartons.

  Free membership cant be "worth" $50
  Ive bought a few cases from you guys and some of your wine is good but why bother pretending with this nonsense.

    The membership is worth $50/year and we have sold thousands of memberships at $50/Year.
    In this case we are giving away a one year membership with each order.

        Yes, it will extend the current membership.
        ie: if you have 3 months left on your membership, after the purchase you will have one year and 3 months.

  I don't know of any other retailer 'wine clubs' which charge a membership fee. In fact many of the good FREE ones offer you a tasty, known brand bonus or a solid %age discount with your first order.

  Times are tough in retail I guess.

    I have worked for Skye Cellars for at least 8 years and we always had the membership at $50/year.
    The membership does give you discounts and access to the members only page: https://www.skyecellars.com.au/members where you can get Solid %age discount. If this wasn't the case then we wouldn't have sold thousands (And I can confirm) of Skye Club Memberships. We have been operating for over 39 years now. We wouldn't still be in the business if we didn't do the right thing all these years.

  Just saw this again, surprised I missed this post. Great full bodied Shiraz, especially if you like your Shiraz with some kick. I just ordered 6 cartons to store.
