  Looking for a good laptop for under $1000 with intel i7, 8gigs ram,good video card, at least 640gigs hard drive in 14 inch screen can someone recommend one please. Are all i7 the same is there different models (whats with all this ghz stuff i5 have higher ghz? thanks in advance for any help given guys.

  Sunday: site shows online price $1298 [RRP $1299]
  & I saw no "specials" banner or page.

  So, try Dell's cheaper, i7 laptop (w/ 4GB RAM),
  & maybe use the savings to buy more RAM ;-)
  (It's listed earlier in today's OB deal list)

  I hope some folks got'em at the lower price…

  PS I neg'd this deal so folks would read comments
  & not spend time (as I did) searching their site,
  in the hopes of finding an ASUS i7 bargain.

  To be fair, I'll trust they just sold-out quickly.
