Looking for New External Monitor (Non-Gaming)

Hi guys, my 5+ year old AOC 27" external monitor is having issues (horizontal gray lines; no solution after trying all possible options), so I'm looking for a decent replacement for daily use in my home-office.

Mainly need: 27-32", 1920x1080 resolution (enough for my work, and laptop compatibility), IPS panel (non-glossy), HDMI output, thin bezel, good sharpness for extensive coding and some graphics editing, non-gaming but movies/Netflix often, max $350 budget. I'll prefer LG, Dell, AOC monitors.

Does anyone have any suggestions for specific models?

Thank you!

    There’s a decent 32” AOC one for $299 which is IPS and 1440p. I really wouldn’t get 1080p at 32”.

This seems to tick all of your boxes - I bought it for $216 earlier in the week, and it got delivered yesterday. Very happy so far.

    • Thanks, looks good. Quick question: doesn't look like it's wall mountable, but is the stand height adjustable?

Also, is the standby wake-up time quick enough, and would you know how much warranty does it comes with?

      • I believe it is tilt only. 3 years warranty (according to above link).

Didn't specifically look at the wake up time, but didn't notice any issue.

    • ta!

  • There's the Kogan 32" 3840x2160 IPS for under $400. Using it atm for non-game stuff, very happy with it. You will most likely want to use scaling in Windows 10 at this size and res.

    • Thanks. Windows 10 scaling is what I dread, and its the reason why I'd rather stick to 1080p or 1440p for now.

  • As opposed to an internal monitor?
