Just noticed this is your 2500th deal, what an awesome effort, thank you NC!

    • +17

      Thanks doweyy

    • +2

Do you end up making a decent income from the referrals?

I got a few commissions from the Random referrer button, but you should get more as the deal poster.

  • Does Auspost take amex payment for this?

    • Even if they do, it only gives you half point a dollar isn’t it?

      • 1 point per $

      • you can link your amex to your paypal and pay

however there are random times amex still recognise it as aust post payment,

        anyone have any other experience?

  • +1

    Thanks

  • what is the limit?

    • +1

I don't think there's one. Depends on what your credit card limit is ;)

  • +12

Thanks from OZB NC - 2500 deals is an amazing contribution to the community.

    • +1

      Thanks Oprime

  • You mean return by clicking shop now at CR ?

Or have products in cart from AP and return to CR ?

    • +3

Hi profar. That’s generic for all merchants. In simple terms, it just means to click Shop Now again for each subsequent purchase beyond the first. So just click Shop Now from the main link, add to cart and purchase. If you need to buy more, go back to the link, click Shop Now again, add to cart and purchase. Hope this clarifies :)

      • Thanks TA . Going give CR some big biz today :)

      • So for each individual card do i have to go back and do it? Will it work if i buy multiple cards in one transaction?

        • +6

If you have 5 cards in your cart, you're fine with one click. It's only if you decide to buy more at a later stage that you need to come back and click through again. So yes, multiple cards in one transaction is perfectly fine.

  • +2

I see it as too risky to pin your hopes on the cashback going through and then being forced to wait but congrats on 2500 deals.

  • +5

    Good stuff.
Be great if you could work on the up to 90 days cashback.
Especially on this type purchase, these are not refundable usually, so a much shorter cashback would be good.

  • +1

    Thanks NC. 2500..

  • Do ebay codes still work when using gift cards?

    • +5

      usually they do

      • +2

awesome thanks mate, time to stock up!

    • +1

yes i did few days ago and worked fine but remember the maximum cards you can use in one transaction are 8

  • +1

Thanks, was waiting for eBay card discounts for a long time :)

  • +5

Bought 10. Now to wait for delivery and then wait for a deal on eBay. Patience is a virtue…

  • I tried purchasing through mobile app but transaction through credit card didn't passed….does anyone has similar issue?

  • I take it these are physical cards?

    • They are yes, free delivery mentioned on Auspost site

  • I didnt know auspost sold gift cards and has cashback, seeing that its usually 1.5% for gift cards, why not do this all the time?

Theres the 1% cashback on app ebay brought back, but wouldnt using these gc at 1.5% be better?

  • Anyone know what's the maximum number of eBay gift cards you can use in a transaction? Looking to get a Rx 5700 xt roughly around 600-700 dollars.

Thank you in advance for any information

    • +1

8 gift cards, so you can buy $100 value each card

      • thanks widzz looks like im getting 6

  • just confirming aus post dont sell $100 ebay or westfield or david jones cards?

    cant seem to find it

    • +1

The ebay cards are one listing, then you choose between 50 or 100.

  • +1

Thanks OP. I need to service the car, so %5 off helps

  • Will the 5% eBay gift cards stack with the new 15% off eBay purchases here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/477319?

    • sure thing :)

  • Is ebay gift card sent via post or I will receive via email?

    • I got mine last time via post, took 2 days to come.

  • Anyone know how quick they actually send out the cards?

    • +1

Took 2 days for me last time I purchased.

      • with the weekend coming up im actually feeling kinda nervous because I want to stack it with the 15% off

        • +1

FYI if you buy more than $200 worth, you'll need to call AusPost to activate the cards. It took mine over a week to activate, even when they advised ~24 hours…

          • @luannyboyz: What’s the process ?

Activating each card or each order?

            • @profar: Activating each order, so I got 2 x $100 gift cards, just needed to verify my details and order number over the phone.

  • Does anyone know how long it usually takes for CashRewards to register a sale? Not meaning the 90 days cashback but just to acknowledge they're tracking it.

    • +3

Our internal testing showed Aus Post to be a tad slow at around 5 hours. Some merchants are close to instant, others can take a few days.

      • Purchased 9pm and still no email… something wrong?

        • Check spam folder?

          • @nocure: Yeah nothing, looks like ill just wait and see, then raise support ticket…

            • @zakarados: Please let me know if this has come through now.

              • +1

                @tightarse: Hi TA,
Just checked, and it has come through.
                Thx

                • +2

@zakarados: Long story, but there was an issue with the merchant API from around 9pm Friday affecting a number of transactions. This was fixed around an hour ago :)

                  • @tightarse: Hi TA,

I made my purchase around 9.30am on Friday and still no luck. I was going to wait until the 7 days came up before raising a support ticket. Are you aware of any issues with the merchant API around that period as well?

                    Cheers

                    • +1

@tongu: No. The issue is the one I identified above. Please raise a support ticket and the team will take care of it. Thanks.

                      • @tightarse: how do I raise a support ticket???

                        • @Samsungnote10: Easiest way is to go to your click history. After 7 days, you will see a ‘Send a Claim’ button. Just follow the prompts.

                          • @tightarse: so you cant raise one before 7 days?

I assume since its been like 48 hours, if it hasnt tracked by now, its not going to track

                          • @tightarse: so is that a yes or no?

                            • @Samsungnote10: That's correct. You can only submit a claim once the button appears in your click history (7 days).

                              • @tightarse: Ok thanks

                              • @tightarse: I just checked my cash back and it seems low, it should be 5% of the total

not 5% minus gst because there is no gst on gift cards or delivery fees

                                • +1

                                  @Samsungnote10: That's correct. It's 5% of the total. Please re-check your acct.

                                  • @tightarse: thanks, dont know how but an hour ago it said

                                    $1000 purchase , $45.45 cash back

                                    now it says
                                    $1000 purchase, $50.00 cash back

                                    must have been corrected

    • +2

Bought the giftcard at 8:47am and got the CR tracking notification at 11:42am.

  • $200 in the bank…do I need $5 off of a $100 spend which I have to use on eBay…?…probably…

    • Say my name few time when there is site wide eBay discount but I highly doubted there will be one

  • +1

thx champ, now the standard question, how much is too much to buy?

  • +1

Thanks OP! Hopefully comes in time to stack with the current 15% off.

  • -1

added 5 of $100 ebay cards into cart and checkout, but there's no discount?

    • Cashback

    • +1

If you clicked the cashrewards links right, you'd get cashback in that cashrewards account. Full price on the AustPost website.

  • Oh cool, is there any limit like orders per account, order total amount, item quantity per order, cashback total etc. Cheers,

  • Click on See full details here doesn't seem to have details

  • I made 5 trans at 1030pm last night. And no tracking

Normally id wait but it seems others have their tracking

    • So should I just wait until tracking comes through or give the rep a msg to give the heads up.

It's a big cash Back definitely won't be missing out

    • Same here, no tracking yet!

  • No parcel tracking information, but order status changed from confirmed to delivered.
    Australia Post joke…

    • how do you check status?

      • Login to the Australia post shop website… only if you have an account already

Because there's no signup link/button on their website , with their new look improved website, that's another Australia Post joke …

If you have checked out as guest, there's no way to check the status, no link in the order confirmation email

        • ahh no problems, all good
          I ordered friday

  • +1

Had a phone call from AP to verify yesterday . They said I would get the cards in a few days .

  • Well, I guess they've got too many orders, so they have to mark all the orders as delivered and keep silent for several days before sending those out.

  • a few days later

  • This is taking long also no showing the transaction in Cashrewards website yet.

    • My 4 transactions all tracked in like 10 minutes.
You might have done something wrong.

      I'd suggest:

      Use Edge browser instead of other so you don't have extensions blocking ads;

      Use mobile network instead of home wifi so you don't have router/firewall blocking ads;

Step 1: Clear all history in Edge, restart it.

      Step 2:
Then click from the cashback website.
      Shopping cart should be empty.
If not, clear cart, and go back to step 1.
Always search / browser to find the item, do not click on the front page promotion item or from the recent item suggestions.

If need to place more orders, go to step 1.

      • I tend to believe when message says : Congratulations XXXXX, you're on your way to
Up to 5% Cashback at Australia Post Shop .

After that step end up at AP Store .

Thanks I'll look into edge .

  • Just checked CC statement vs CR tracking 4 out of 9 tracked .

    My Cashback did not track
If it has been 7 days since you made your purchase and you don't see your transaction in your My Rewards please get in touch. • Has anyone received their delivery yet for this deal?

    • Received mine today. Called up to activate and Customer Service said they had technical difficulties and couldn’t activate my cards. I am expecting a call back.

      • Hi what number did you call I need to contact them regarding to the cards too…thanks

    • Got 7 orders last Thurs . Rang the activation number and was told activated in 24 hrs . Didn't happen but now think/hope they are all activated :)

Missed firing into that 15% off Ebay + deal .

  • Has anyone managed to activate their card(s)? No news from Aust Post on my activation status - This is a joke!

    • When they upgrade their website, they forgot to put the 'signup'/register button on it, so you can image what kind of service you will get.

13 days passed , and I still have not receive anything from the order.

My order in the account shows as delivered, yet there is no tracking no.

Opened case with them last Thursday, told someone would contact me in 1 to 2 business days, no, there's no contact.

    • I ordered a few lots at the same time.
Half have arrived last Friday, I'm still waiting for the second half

      • my second lot arrived today, almost 4 busienss days later

  • My order delivered in 13 days, but yes , none of cards have been activated yet. 0 balance on them.
Guess you'll have to call them to trace this down.
