Some ridiculous inflated prices for non reference cards that are only $10 more in the states than here. I guess it's a waiting game

    • Im in the market for a new card but these 5700 cards just run too hot. Might be better to wait until Nov when the cards mature a little more.

  • The standard 5700 is a really good $466.65.

Thats a pretty big difference. DO you think Either card would be good for 144hz gaming at 1080 P for games like dota 2, fortnite etc?

RX 5700/XT is going to match with RTX 2070/Super.

I'm 95% sure it will give 144fps for those esport games at 1080p. But you will have to wait for reviews and benchmarks.

Make sure your CPU can keep up.

Edit: found a YouTube fps review for 5700XT

    • I really like this review: https://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/133574-sapphire-rade…

It's specifically for the sapphire non-xt cards however it includes comparisons with the other rx 5700 cards in a meaningful way and shows why you may or may not want a non reference card.

While dota2 and fortnite are not listed you won't have an issue with 144hz 1080 gaming with the cards.

    • im on rx570 and getting well above 144 on all popular main titles, and ofc low setting, for competitive play anyway.

  • code doesn't work just says cant be applied to order… :(
edit: ignore this!! I need ebay plus!!

  • There are reviews of other older reference cards with the same design + personal experiences posted online that say the reference cards run at very high temperatures. Most of the time, worth while spending a bit more for aftermarket cooling solutions for better performance.

All normal according to AMD though, however the bit about the heat this thing outputs into your system is a valid point if you run a very compact case / poorly designed cooling environment.
