    Am I old now? Is this $17.75 for clothes in a game? Back when I was a boy, you bought a game. Then played that game. No further money required.

      Unfortunately, the market has shifted. While I also personally disagree with the added cost for in-game cosmetics, it means that those who can't/don't want to spend on money to play the game don't have to. For other games, it also means that new DLC can be released to the public for free.

        I love the hive mind of contrarianism here.

        I'm personally over Fortnite, but I had my fun with is for quite some time. It was a fun way to socialise with friends who I wouldn't necessarily get to see in person too often.

        And though I'm against their ecosystem and just how expensive each cosmetic actually is, I've never felt compelled to rally behind the idea of putting someone down for playing a popular game.
