    • Have an upvote.

  • Not bad for $20 for sure however the blue branded el’cheapo model that has SDS might be a better option particularly as the SDS bits absolutely chew through concrete like butter.

    This one. https://www.bunnings.com.au/xu1-900w-rotary-hammer-drill-kit…

    • Put on 05 sticker on it and it’d be a Winner.

That drill is 80 bucks, and then you need a 13mm chuck to use normal bits which is super overkill for the avg bloke at home

      • I would tend to agree Jackson, the exception I’d suggest is largely when doing lots of masonry work, where an SDS would be a better option.

    • Agreed; SDS is miles better if you're doing any masonry work, which is presumably why you're buying a hammer drill in the first place.

  • Ring your local bunnings to c if $20 but most stores happy to price match if u have pic of clearance or reciept

    • +4

Bunnings don’t price match its own other store clearance prices

      • It’s up to store descreshion but iv always got bunnings to match on clearance prices

        • No one uploading receipt to do that lol

      here you go mate https://ibb.co/NxN8yfb

      • Doesn't that receipt show that you paid $59?

        • They did a mistake, I went through the self checkout and told her that it scanned at full price so she scanned them back up at 20 dollar I bought 2, and I got refunded for the 59 one that's why I crossed it off

  • I have bought one of this 3 years ago for $25 and still going very good.

This product is intended for DIY use only.

So that means anyone can use this as long as they don't share it?

  • any chance you saw those star wars door stops at mindarie? lol

  • Is this cordless?

    • No it's not

    • Only the accessories kit that comes with it is.

  • good drill, used it for a weekend of masonry, on the premise if it survived the weekend we would be happy.

I used it a bit much and it spewed grease(?). Anyway, works fine, is still going today.

  • Motors last the distance but the switch doesn't. You'll get a few years worth for home use.

  • No stock at WA Subiaco

  • How do you know what's good? I have a ~15 yr old blackanddecker Corded Hammer Drill, no idea what it is. Still working, don't use much. Is this worth getting?

    • +2

You already have one and rarely use it, so no, 20 bucks is 20 bucks

I sold mine used on Gumtree for $25. Now I have a 3 year warranty for -$5. Thanks OP.

  • Anyone had any luck in getting one @$20? Went to local bunnings was told it might be on clearance on another outlet and they don't price match. Tried Bunnings at Sunshine VIC.

  • Vic looks like on normal price
