Hi, I finish work late. Just get to jb to make pre order for another note10+ also price match with tgg today AUG10 they get down price to 1529.10
Total is 1699-169.9-300=1229.1
I pick the pre order with 12 month plan which get $300 and all the bonus akg and $100.
Can't get $999 with all bonus tonight what a shame on some high bossy from jb. However this one I think is till better than $999 without the bonus. We can use the bonus to get price down better than $999. Who till wait, go now match the price and get your bonus too.

      i just did, went to two stores. Both sales rep advised the deal starts tomorrow.
      No pre-order bonus.

        You can still do the long standing deal in order to get the pre order bonus. If you want this deal then no pre-order bonus.
        Their system doesn't have the option yet for this deal so they are unable to place the discount on the phone.

      That's what I was told by the first store I called. The second store assured me I can order today with pre order bonuses. We shall see when I pop in store this afternoon.

          Don't waste your time. I called the store again to re-confirm so I don't waste my time going in store. Starts tomorrow.
          I've got a note 10+ arranged for $1100 with receipt (all those Telstra EPP 50% sales). Just going to buy that and go on the $45pm Telstra JB plan with the $200 GC.

    Last day for ebay plus Panther sale. If you were smart you could get AU Stock off of gumtree Note 10+ 256GB for $900 plan upgrade dump. You could possibly downgrade to the $45 plan with 50GB of data but that may constiute a breaking of the contract. Samsung just dropped the China Snapdragon 5G.

      I've been trying to work that out. The English is a little hard to piece together and there's a bit of assumed knowledge, like which company their "Very nice, very handsome" rep is actually representing.

    So went in store myself, they said they can do the deal but not stacking with the free headphones as the stock is not a pre-order stock.

    Been to a JB Hifi store.

    You either take the normal deal with giftcards and free headphone and can be on any plan deal

    or

    Take this $999 deal. No gift card. No headphone and must be on plan $65 for 12 mths.

    Apparently they received a communication sometime today from head office so I am guessing OP got lucky before the comms came out.

    I saq the comms paper.

      So $1699 with a $100 gift card and AKG's RRP $500 (that are actually retailing for that price)
      So arguably $1099 for the Note and freedom to choose whatever plan you like.

      VS

      $999 for the Note + $780 with a 12 month generous 60GB/m Telstra plan.

      On another note (pun intended), does anyone know how price protection would work with the Telstra deal? Does it put the value of the phone at $999 or $1779?
      That could be a pretty big decider for me.

        Unless the akg performs better than the bose or Sony, no one will buy it.
        Sony And bose can be had for around 320-350 frequently. Won't be able to resell it for more than that unless they actually perform better

    No deal. With that money and hassle, wrong printed Catalogue, no pre order bonus on bonus date. The A13 equipped iPhone 11 would be another choice.

      A. with this TGG price match, sign up $65 plan for 12 months and get $300 gift card with bonus AKG and $100 gift card, 1699-169.9-300=1129.1

      B. also sign up $65 plan for 12 months and $999 on the note 10+, which deal is better? it comes down to whether the AKG is worth more than 1129.1-999=130.1
      even though the AKG is really retailing for $499 at the moment, unless it's better than bose and sony, no one will buy it at that price. But to resell it for more than $130.1, that should be easy

    If you actually run the numbers AND you don't need 60gb (compare to a cheaper plan with another provider) this deal isn't that great…

    IF you are a power user and need the large plan anyway then its decent.

      You essentially can i think but you will have to pay 390 early termination fee.

      Just got mine with this deal. I find it better value than preorder deals.

          Depending on the rep you chat with. If you're lucky you might get waived. I pick the 12 month get $300 gc and paid for 1699-300-169.1(match 10% AUG10 from TGG on 22/08)=1229.1 and get akg plus $100 gc when pick up. I think the more credits for the phone you might get less chance to change to m2m waive the fee. For mine it is only $300 gift card. But if you get $999 deal, you get $700 credit which might affect your chance to change to m2m without fee.

        I am guessing you have done it in the last couple of days? I have successfully changed from JB contract to m2m about three weeks ago, just wondered if it was still a possibility and sounds like it may be.

          Yes, the onnce I confirmed is the second plan to buy note 10+ with $300 gc that I just sign up on 22/08. When I go out the store I check plan active then start the chat. It work for me only take me 30 Min chatting. Yeah still work.

        Don't know why I get down voted. Haha better I never share my experience to get good deal any more. My honey complained I started share with the ozb who just wasted my time. Yes she is right, I never up for sharing my experience any more.
