Hi, I finish work late. Just get to jb to make pre order for another note10+ also price match with tgg today AUG10 they get down price to 1529.10
Total is 1699-169.9-300=1229.1
I pick the pre order with 12 month plan which get $300 and all the bonus akg and $100.
Can't get $999 with all bonus tonight what a shame on some high bossy from jb. However this one I think is till better than $999 without the bonus. We can use the bonus to get price down better than $999. Who till wait, go now match the price and get your bonus too.

Get the 5G version through Telstra for $70.79 P/m with the $60 plan. Cancel after 12 months. Should only pay $849.50 (12 months remaining of the phone payments) as the plan itself are now only month to month.

Would still be $144.50 cheaper than this with the better 5G note 10+.

  70.79 + 60 = $130.79 per month * 12 months = $1569.48
  If telstra still allows the discount to be applied for the device when you cancel @ 12 month mark then +849.48
  
  Total cost = $1569.48 + 849.48 = $2418.96

    The cost of the phone $70.79 x 24Months + $60 x12Months = $2418.96 - For the 512GB Note10+ 5G;
    
    The cost of JB's deal is $999 + $65 x 12Months = $1779 for the Note10+ 256GB for 12 months. But yea TWO different phones though.

There are so few towers that currently offer 5g connectivity and unlike 4g where the infrastructure was in place before launch. So really you could wait for a year or two while it gets rolled out across most major cities.

If you live in outer suburbs or country areas forget about looking forward to this as Telstra is primarily focused on metro locations.

I'd say in 3 years time 5g will be more accessible and the infrastructureis more widely deployed and even then you will need to be on a 5g access plan. I believe current 4g plan holders need to pay $10 extra for access to 5g.

So ask yourself do you need to spend the extra cash?
Even if you keep the phone for 2x years, most manufacturers will have updated their modem chipsets and power requirements leading to better signal, speed and power consumption.

I don't believe this is a valid deal as I cannot find anything to verify $999 for note 10+ over a 12 month contract at $65 a month.
For Note 10 however, if you count the port in bonus $400 plus the $100 for preorder, you do end up paying $999.

Until the OP clarifies/fix the post I'll have to neg this deal.

Some inside info.

Checked with a mate working at JB. HE said these days management keeps these deals hush-hush and he does not know any information about this as well.

not sure if we should wait for 2 days and see what happens there are other deals (ebay) that might go away as well within the next day or so.

Too good to be true and no proof can be found anywhere. JB Telstra plan usually bundled with unpopular phone that needs sales boost, not with recently released Samsung flagship that is still in pre order period.

Hi Guys,

I can confirm that even if you are existing Telstra customer they should be able to upgrade you to this plan. you might have to pay off your current plan.

In my situation i have 2 months to go on a current pixel 2 plan (which i got from JB 2 years back). i calculated the cost at JB and they told me that i will have to pay of the 2 months (in the next bill OR installments) and they should be able to upgrade me to any of the current JB exclusive plans available.

I was going to buy Note 10+ from Ebay (PANTHER deal) and sign up for a $45/month plan. since this deal looks much promising i am not going to ebay to but Note 10+ for $1289. 'Panther' Ebay deal ends tomorrow!

Confirmed I got this catalouge in the mail this afternoon. Starts 22/08 tomorrow, no mention of AKG JBHIFI are not authrized with AKG (Only Telstra and Optus etc). $999 is nearly Telstra cost price. I confirmed before with a Telstra rep online unless you put the sim in your phone your contract does not start! Pre-ordred the same model with the Snapdragon $1289 tempted to CAN that!

      When JB hifi does promos like these, they always do an in-store gift card that pays for the portion of the phone. For example in this case, they will do an in-store gift card for the amount of $700. The receipt will be $1699 - $700 gift card payment and the rest you have to pay is $999. The AKG headphones is done via redemption from Samsung online. JB hifi is a participating store so it will be available with this offer.
      
      Your plan starts as soon as you have ported, not when you put the sim in. This only occurs when you deal directly with telstra and order online because they have to mail the sim card to you.
