Just a heads up, I found supima ones to be shorter in the torso than the dry packaged variety. Hopefully it's not just how we launder them, but i'm personally going to order a size larger than normal.

Hope this is of use to someone.

    • I've found this too. The sleeves also are a little shorter which is inconvenient for guys with hairy pits. Speaking from experience. Had some Smalls, ordered some Mediums.

      • … which is exactly how they’re supposed to be:
“Slimmer cut around the shoulders and armholes, for a fit that won’t bunch up.”

Interesting, I have a heap of the dry packed and a few of the Supima. I've noticed randomly some of my shirts are too short in the torso, it must be the Supima ones! Thanks for the heads up, I'll stick to the cheaper dry packaged ones then.

      • The supimas feel nicer than dry packaged, I just ordered a size up.

  • I’m not getting free shipping with this code…

Just exit and reenter your cart, that made it work for me.

  • Thanks dws, that’s the trick!

I wonder if there is a consensus about which one is better in terms of quality and comfort… between these affordable basic tshirts Uniqlo Supima, H&M and AS Colour or they are all the same and it’s just a matter of which one fits you better? I’ve done some research but could not find many comparisons. I have a couple of Uniqlo Supima and am happy with their quality, but don’t know if I should look for the other options too.

    • I find out of all similarly priced products, Uniqlo is always the best quality

    • Personally I can't tell the difference, one user posted above that the Supima are shorter in the torso though. I am wondering if the shirts I have that issue with are all my Supima ones…

      • Sorry I misread the OP here.. Thought he was asking about Supima vs dry packaged

I have an AS Colour T shirt (not from Culture Kings though) and it is a lot thicker and more premium feeling than my H&M T shirts. H&M Tee quality can vary a lot, I have some that are thick and nice, but some feel just like $4 Kmart T shirts

    • AS Colour t shirts (at least the Staple ones) are a level above the others in my opinion. They feel great and they hold up really well in the wash. They're obviously more expensive but look out for sales. Uniqlo ones are pretty good and probably better value over all, and I'd probably put Kmart above H&M…

Don't buy GAP, it is terrible.

    • AS Colour I've found are the best. Better and thicker material, retain their colour better. Only downside is that they seem to have some variance between colours in the same range. e.g. my black staple tees fit me perfect when I got them but my whites are much tighter around the chest.

  • Great quality shirts and long lasting - bought 5, thanks!

  • Bet ya the white one in size small and medium will be all sold out in store

I always get holes at the bottom of my shirt on these X_X

    • Same!!! Only after 1-2 years!

    • +2

I noticed mine was due to the belt buckle. Not sure if that's the case for everyone

      • +1

there are a lot of theories lol. I can't help it. I wear belts very often!!

      • I don’t wear belts and still got the holes.

        • +1

That's weird probably run into stuff alot :/

    • Wow same here - odd!!

  • large or medium for 511 wide shoulders? medium look a bit tight maybe

  • It seems all the models wear M, and are different heights.
I'm 6'0 105kgs, muscular but I can fit in an L. I just wonder if an XL will be really loose around my waist.

Great price including postage. Is free postage just for this item, or I can add some others?

You can add other items with the dad code

  • What's the difference between this shirt and the Uniqlo U? I've tried the shirt in this deal on instore and found it to be too thin to the point of see-through.

    • +2

The U tops are a lot thicker and more premium but not as soft, i like the cut of the U better, i use both.

      • Thanks! Do you use them for different purposes or just whatever takes your fancy on the day?

        • +1

Yeah definitely! I usually go the U top if i'm wearing something you can still see the top or on its own whereas i use the supima one for underneath jumpers and etc

Theres also a slight colour difference too, one of them is slightly creamier off white

  • +2

I wore it in person. Really didn't like it. At least for the white, the material of the collar is quite opaque compared to the (relatively) much more transparent shirt itself. Felt very awkward.

Bought one in the past, didn't like it. Material very thin. Unusually thin for UNIQLO standard.
This Kmart tee is better IMO @ $5.50 (price lowered permanently, I remember it was between $6-10 couple months ago)
    More material too (long sleeve)
    Soweyy doweyy

    If you want short sleeve:
    Plain V-Neck Tee @ $3.75
Plain Crew Neck Tee @ $3.75

CC only though, delivery starts from $10
