maybe they package it really really really well ??? :S

    • sometimes they have really good prices on their hardware…

i got a Roku Soundbridge off them and a QNAP NAS a while back, no one on shopbot or staticeice even came close to their prices…

most of the time they aren't the cheapest though… as always, you just need to do your homework…

  • Normally their site runs well; feeling the strain of lunch break on ozbargain?

    • yeah, everyone's searching for the best bargain to cut $10 further off…

  • yeah got this email as well but didnt think it was good enough to post… (i thought it was 10%!)

  • yep, the postage kills most deals here!
Went to try a 2g SD Card for $11 down to $1 but $15 postage killed it!
    :(

  • You can pick up if near them in VIC.

    • Wonder if it's limited to one use per customer?

Otherwise just turn up in person to the store and walk out with every item under $10 for free.

Q: Can I arrange pickup for my order online?
Yes! As a new feature of our website you can select "Delivery" or "Pickup." When "Pickup" is selected, you can pickup from Mt Waverley in Melbourne. Items in stock will be ready for pickup within 2 hours of ordering. Items not in stock will be ordered in on demand and you will receive a notification via email or phone letting you know that your goods are ready for collection.

    • yes, they're only a few minutes away from Monash Uni

$12 delivery for one SD card!!! And prices aren't competitive anyway.
Even after $10 discount - there is nothing that I would be tempted to buy.
Web-site is ridiculously slow. It's got some bugs too.
    Fail!

    • price match it

      • dont think you can price match a voucher!

    • A refreshing use of the negative vote - it's obvious to all why you have voted that way.

  • not even cheap..
8GB MicroSD for $29 before voucher & shipping.
You can get it for $11-$12 on other post here, without voucher but free shipping.

    • they sell other things as well…

  • For all those whinging about the postage rates, they use AAE express service, so around $10 is the usual minimum delivery charge on most sites I've used that send via AAE. If you want it sent as a $1 envelope go to eBay or one of the other smaller outfits…

    • for many things there we don't need AAE express, especially not for anything around the 10 dollar mark

      • That's all well and good, but obviously eStore aren't interested in selling a $10 SD card day in day out and doing a separate run down to the post office. Much alike say PCCG who also have a minimum of around $12 delivery via AAE. Also if you look at their site it's fairly obvious they are trying to target businesses and not consumers so much so and are more focused towards selling larger value items.

        • Well if they want to be a seriously competitive online store then they will need to get their postage sorted!

        • so much so and are more focused towards selling larger value items.

yep and offer free postage for those too…

as as i said earlier, i bought a QNAP NAS (419P) from them about 18 months ago, around $100 better than the next best price in Aus, and free postage too…

  • @jv how's the QNAP NAS? i've been wanting to get a qnap but they are pretty expensive

  • http://www.estore.com.au/Pinnacle_Studio_14_Ultimate_Collect… includes a green screen cloth for all you home video camcorder fans that want to be transported elsewhere with the magic of Chroma-key green screen. Version 15 is the current version, but still good value software for $48.
