Lenovo LI2264D 21.5" Monitor $95.20 + Shipping (Free with Plus) / Pickup @ Bing Lee eBay

OK, so it's only 21.5", however you could get 3 of these bad boys for under $300. Which is cheaper than an ultra wide screen monitor and a decent, cheap choice, for gaming.

The bezel is fairly thin for that. They're also rated pretty well online, especially given the low price.

7ms is fine even for gaming. It's $95! For people on a budget this is a great way to have a multi monitor setup.

I thought I might grab this for a cheap second monitor. Thanks cnut.

A lot of the people in those threads seem to be likening response time to input lag.

The actual reported response time on monitors means nothing, it's just a marketing number at this point.

There are some "1ms" monitors which are actually 16ms+ or require so much overdrive to reach that number they artifact like crazy. Considering the real response time of this monitor is likely well above 8ms for different colours, it's going to be above the 13ms frametime of 75hz and will cause some ghosting.

It doesn't seem to be a major issue on this monitor and the price is very respectable for a low-end IPS monitor but it will ghost a little which is worth knowing.

Well said. I expect some ghosting, but then my Sony TV has plenty too and that was $2,000.

  • Cant see a vesa mount in the specs unless I'm missing something

Doesn’t have one unfortunately. Hence the price.

Doesn't support VESA… but you can improvise like this

      • Huh that's pretty nice

  • Also worth mentioning, I believe this has Freesync over HDMI (So AMD only). The range is only 48-75hz and I'm not sure if this can be changed using CRU, but it's better than nothing.

bought two, should be much better than one 27" for the same money. Thank you, OP!

    • I got one too. Hopefully they're OK!

      • fingers crossed :)

    • Have you had yours sent yet?

      • +1

Status has been updated to sent a couple of hours ago and received my invoice

        • Lucky you. All I got yesterday was shipping info received by auspost so they haven't even sent mine yet. I won't get it until next week the earliest. The parts I ordered at the same time from pccasegear came this morning though. Bing Lee is slow.

          • @MikeHuntSchmelz: @MikeHuntSchmelz: Received a couple of those yesterday, they look really good, but didn't have a chance to play around with them, as I don't have a second cable yet to connect them at once (cable ordered separately when realise that will need a different one from supplied ones)
