Was looking for some puzzles for the wife and I to do.

Not what you would call a huge sale or discount. But $1 puzzles. $1 !!!

I classify that as a genuine bargain. Find something better with a entertainment cost per hour ratio ($0.17 an hour!).

Cheaper then buying them from the op shop, spending 10 hours doing them and finding out they have 10 bits missing.

A quick search comes up with these around the $5-10 mark on ebay etc.

    Window shopping, $0/hr :)

Got some puzzles for $1 each at Target a year or two back. Made nice presents.

Just like other Cardinals. You are best off keeping this one away from kids.

I did a puzzle the other day. Took me 3 days. Said 2-4 years on the box!

When it comes to puzzles, it's Ravensburger or nothing.

    • I like their Disney ones.

  • 6 hours to do a 500 PC puzzle?

Anyway, I came here to mention that 500 piece ones are almost impossible to find nowadays. They're perfect for kids to do with a parent, or even by themselves. Even an adult can enjoy a smaller puzzle like this for a quick break to switch off, but the only options available in this size suck. These ones are pretty bad with pieces that break and boring pictures).

Ravensburger kids ones only go up to 300, then it's straight to 1000 pieces for good puzzles (ones with enough variation, nice pictures, etc).

None of these seems to be enough challenging :( the price is crazy good, though

For a challenge turn them over and do the reverse side.

    Challenge accepted.

Around 2.8c each. Use 6 an hour and it still comes in cheaper than $0.17.

YMMV, but probably a better use for the wife than doing puzzles with her.

Your username would also check out.
