Gecko GKR-624 Entertainment Unit for up to 46" TV. $168 + Shipping (Free Pickup Syd), RRP $699

50

First post, hopefully I did it correctly. Just bought this TV unit, looks a lot better in real life than the photo they provide.

The website states that their products are available from local distributors, but it's easier to just call them directly, and pick up the product from their warehouse in Auburn NSW. Units come flat-packed.

I was quoted $30 delivery to CBD Sydney. Not sure about other locations.

They have a few other styles on sale also - check the website. They also have various other units on display at the warehouse.

Dimensions: 1220mm W x 535mm D x 590mm H
Maximum Support:

ROFL at RRP $699. Might as well say RRP is $10,789 for all it matters.

    • HAHAHA

btw if people are near Auburn there's a whole building (forget the name) of good cheap furniture stores - most imported direct from china - and even have some good quality knock offs of designer pieces at prices ozbargainers would like :) I'll post the name up if I remember.

        • I reckon could be this one (under MSY)- a lot more Chinese stores:
http://www.auburnhomecentre.com.au/ - picked up a cheap rug from there. The Auburn Home Mega Mall has a few that aren't too bad either (one on rooftop) but also mixed in with the normal retailers.

        • that's the one shaiguy, Auburn Home Centre!

Bullet proof glass doesn't come cheap my friend.

  • Good price if you're into that kind of style of TV unit.
I just bought the $199 on sale TV unit from Ikea, no regrets.

I would rather get this for $99 http://www.fantasticfurniture.com.au/ViewProduct/p/occasiona…

Not comparing quality but more the fact the I can keep the dvd player, amplifier, back cabling away from sight

And a RRP of $699?? I'm surprise they haven't gone bust yet asking for that price

    • thanks for sharing!

  • LOL, stop it guys, you're going to end up giving subhiro buyer's remorse :P

I would buy another TV set for that price :)

  • that thing doesn't look like it's worth more than $168. RRPs are totally made up anyway.
