I own this monitor. It is a TN panel, but the colours are great especially after calibration. Running 1440p 144hz Freesync on my GTX1080 now that Nvidia supports it.

Doesn't come with Displayport cable, required for Freesync/GSync Compatible

    • Freesync works over HDMI unless it's different for this monitor?

It does not work when you are using a NVIDIA GPU for FreeSync. I used the HDMI 2.0 cable initially and only when I used DP did it show the option to enable FreeSync/GSync Compatible.

        • It should, however, work for AMD gpus. Just Nvidia not supporting it for whatever reason (I'd imagine so there's some reason to buy g-sync…)

    • How'd you get it calibrated?

I own the 24" version. Couldn't recommend highly enough. You'll struggle to go back to budget gaming monitors after you've used one of these.

  • Thanks OP. Was planning on using the eBay code to get it on Monday, good thing I caught this.

  • I got a GeForce RTX 2060 Super, the Freesync would work with it?

    • yes it should if this monitor supports gsync - which by all reports it has excellent support.

    • Yes, you'll just need a DisplayPort cable that's suitable. At least a v1.2 cable, but I'd look for a cable that supports HBR3 if you can.

      • How do you check if its any version? I cant seem to find it on the box usually

        • +1

If it's not described in either one of the above ways I described, check its max resolution, and if it allows for DSC support. Have a look at the wiki page for DisplayPort for more info.

      • Good quality one too, had flickering issues with a cheap Display port cable, changed to a brand name and working great ever since

        • Literally no difference between a cheap and expensive Display Port cable. It either works or it doesn't. Your first one was faulty to begin with.

  • Cashback is only 9% for monitors

    • oh well, that makes the eBay deal better :(
      thanks
