    Only if your westfield card has the full amount as you can't split payment when buying gift cards.

          @SnoozeAndLose: If you use valid payment methods, front counter is ok. If you want to use gift cards, then not.

          They have just updated their registers again and have now blocked the work around as well.

              @SnoozeAndLose: Yes you can put a real credit card on top of the gift card but sneaky swipe the gift card. Hand is quicker than the eye.

              @andylch: Hit gift card. Scan a gift card with less than full amount. It fails but then you hit proceed, enter pin again and you're off.

  Damn it,I got this today and forgot to scan my card. I went back straight away with my receipt and card to get it scanned at the returns desk and they tried to do it but said it kept coming back saying "general error". What a waste lol

    I would contact Flybuys themselves on 131 116 if Coles weren't able to do it for you. You shouldn't miss out on bonus points because their systems weren't working properly. Or you can try going to the Coles service desk again. Their systems may be working now. You have 7 days to get your Flybuys added to a transaction.

      Yup thanks. I ended up going the next day and it scanned fine and I got the points. No idea what the problem was on the day I bought it!
