    Due to the average performance heat distribution, it's not great as a BBQ replacement. Maybe for one or two people yes. Here's a customer review from Tefal's own site: "Tried cooking fillet steak and it didn't brown the steak well. Cannot put too many pieces of meat all at once as the heat just dies, and the meat stews."

    The only way to cook a steak is on a cast iron pan. Don't bother with any other method.
