PS4 will be available from August 27th

    • Thanks

  • +1

Thanks from memory this was exclusive to one of the many editions? Or is it just part of a dlc… I should know given I have both xbox and pc versions…

  • +2

This DLC has 3 episodes. If you like the first episode, it's recommended to get the season pass for $23.97.

  • +3

Added to my uplay account without having the base game, unless it was free before too

  • Ps4 version available for US account right now

  • +1

Can I skip Legacy of the First Blade and go straight to this (Atlantis)?
Or will I miss too much of the story?

    • +2

Yes you can skip it, it’s another ‘story’.

The Season Pass is available on UK Gamesplanet site for 50% off at the moment, $28.04 AUD.

According to Is There Any Deal that's the cheapest it has ever been

Just be careful I don't think you can add Steam keys to the Uplay version and vice versa

  • It's a shame this game runs like crap on my system. Would like to play it.

    • I get about 50 FPS average at 1080 on medium settings with my Intel i7-3770k CPU and AMD Radeon RX 580 GPU. It is the first Assassin's Creed game I played, it came free with my GPU actually but I've really enjoyed it, over 100 hours so far!

      • I am running a ryzen 1600 with a 1070 and I get around 60 with some reduced settings @1080p, but the problem is the insane stutter and framedrops I get. Max fps on the benchmark is 105, 58 is the average and min fps was 24. If that is not unstable enough both the CPU and GPU had 18ms of lag in the benchmark. Turning down the settings does give more fps but does not fix the unstableness.

        • Thats weird it shouldnt be stuttering on a Ryzen 1600..

I had stuttering on my I5 4590 but turning down the environmental detail in settings removed all the problems.

You could try tips in this video. at 11:15 seconds hes testing the game on a Ryzen 1700
          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kG9Bsv-d8HM
3.5gig of vram used on low settings.

        • yeah, ryzen 1600 shouldn’t stutter at all. Most games ought to be GPU bound until >100fps.

          • @selphie: And yet it does…a lot. Idk man it's just weird. All benchmarks/stress tests show that the cpu is performing to par, temps are really good and performance in any other game is fantastic. It's this game and TF2 (a 12 year old game!) where I have the most unstable experience.

    • That's weird. I guess your specs are not up to it or poorly optimised. I get average 67fps at 1440p using 1070 8GB version, 9700k, 32gb 3200mhz ram (not running at clock speed either), and on a Crucial MX500 ssd.

      • Same gpu but much weaker CPU. I guess that's where my problem is.

        • Maybe they optimised it better for CPUs. Sorry that it doesn't work great for you though. The only time I get frame drop is when the game is sending data to Ubisoft.

          • @Rodrrico: I don't need it to work great. Until a few years ago I was still using a core 2 duo haha. I just need it to be stable. Sadly it seems my ryzen is not capable of that, even at 1080p with med/high settings. If more and more games run like this (hasn't happened yet, odyssey seems like an oddball) I might upgrade to the new 3600/3700.

            • @Ostrk: Before getting the i7 9700k, I was with AMD for generations, but their poorly optimised and constantly bottleneck when you least expect it. My guess would be that is likely your issue tbh.

              • +1

@Rodrrico: I don't want to buy a new motherboard for nothing. I can't switch to intel now.

                • +1

@Ostrk: I had the same stutter problem with the 2600 with some games, mostly open world and especially Ubisoft games. Upgraded to 3600 and had a massive improvement in min fps. Problem solved

                  • @philsaggy: Great, glad it worked out!

                  • @philsaggy: That sounds like an easy yet expensive solution to my problem. I have an x370 board that does support third gen ryzen so I always have that upgrade path as an option but damn man I'm becoming very stingy with how much money I want to spend on the computer.

AC:Odyssey great game, but kinda exhausted everything to do. Thanks for post might give a go

  • Do season passes normally go beyond 50% off on consoles for previous AC titles have base game 50% off season pass seems like a decent deal

  • +1

Out of curiosity, is that name some kind of reference to the old LucasArts Indiana Jones game? Or is "The Fate of Atlantis" a more widely used term, something from the original mythology or something?

    • The phrase "The fate of Atlantis" was probably first used by Plato, around 400 BCE.

      Except in Greek. Really!

  • Steam link please

  • +1

Surprised they used that title - I'd have thought Disney would claim rights over "The Fate of Atlantis": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indiana_Jones_and_the_Fate_of_…

    • Obviously a Lucasarts crossover. Can't wait for the point and click section of this DLC.

  • Does Neema <spoiler> in this one?

    I liked Neema.

Steam gives an error when I add to library. Maybe you need the game first?

    • +1

      yeah i get same

  • Finished this series of DLCs and recommend them.

    • are they all worth it or is there some filler, thinking of grabbing season pass

      • I got the season pass from EB when they had a sale earlier in the year. The season pass also comes with AC3 and Liberation as well and then also all of the First Blade and Atlantis DLC series. I think I got it for $40 and thought it was good value.

  • thank you!

  • Anyone able to figure out how to get it for a PS4 Australian account?

  • +1

Not available on PS4 still.. even via the link to Ubisoft it says PS4 available from August 27th 10am UTC (8pm AEST converted)… or is it just me?

    • Same, not available for me as well.

      • +1

It seems the EU Blog is a bit late with this weeks update post as well. May have to wait for the PSN Store update which usually happens midnight/1am. I checked the UK PSN Store and it's still £9.99 for the add-on there too!

        • Also season pass is not 50% off yet still $59, yeah my guess will come around during the weekly store update

  • Anyone can't get it through PSN? I checked both Au store and US one.

  • not available, yet another ubisoft 'bait-and-switch' money grab

  • +2

Available now got it ….https://assassinscreed.ubisoft.com/game/en-au/news-updates/354291/Get-The-Fate-of%20Atlantis%E2%80%93Episode1-for-free and click on PS4

    • Thanks for that. It was probably there a while, just under a different name.

      Direct link… https://store.playstation.com/en-au/product/EP0001-CUSA09303…

    • Ah so it's only the first episode of The Fate of Atlantis (called Fields of Elysium) that's free, not the second episode of The Fate of Atlantis (called The Fate of Atlantis). No idea why anyone was confused about that.

  • took a little looking around online but i found that also each dlc chapter has 3 episodes each, so this free episode is just 1 of 3 episodes of the second dlc chapter, for some reason i was thinking this was the whole second dlc chapter for free

    • It's like when a drug dealer gives you a free hit. It's a short term loss for the drug dealer, but a profitable investment in the long run. Believe you me, this giveaway was in Ubisoft's best interests, not yours.

  • The AC website also mentions the season pass is 50% off, however it’s still showing as full price on PS Store. Am I reading it wrong?

  • Thanks OP, just grabbed the PS4 version.

  • +2

Doesn't look like Steam allows you to add it if you don't own the original. I get

    Oops, sorry!
An error was encountered while processing your request:

There was a problem adding this product to your Steam account.

Doesn't matter if I try via client or web site. Same error.

  • The season pass is still NOT 50% off? Has anyone been able to find it at the discounted price?

    • Thats what Im looking for to :/

  • +1

Anyone else getting not available in your region for Steam??

  • Downloaded the PS4 version. It says waiting to install…….. ? Stay there forever. Anyone has the similar issue?

    • do you have base game installed? and enough space to install it?

      • No, base game is not installed. Do I need to buy the base game?

        • yeah this is DLC not standalone, so did anyone actually see the season pass go on 50% sale? has not changed from the $59 price but the other 2 dlc packs went to 50% off, seems like they removed that the season pass was going to go on sale too from that main news page too

          • @FreoIsaac: nope - season pass never went on sale…

i pinged ubisoft support and all they said was it was a know issue and they were looking into it and they never got back to me…

I could only find it on PC @ 50% discount, not ps4 or xb1
