Man Shopback doesn't miss a beat

    Any idea when this expires?

Love competition. Can’t see anything in their T&C’s when it might end.

  • +3

For those wondering, the usual cashback for all the categories above is 8%

How do I know if the item I want to purchase is in one of these categories?

    • +1

Look at the product. Scroll down. Should say which sub group it's in

  • expiry date please. Fresh credit card month starts tomorrow…

  • Thank you! Been waiting for another 12.5% to pick up a Kindle Oasis!

Wish I knew why I got 'adblock is stopping you from getting cashback' errors when I've disabled adblock. WHAT THE HECK?

    • Are you sure you don't have some other anti-tracking ("privacy") software or extension running?

    • Because the cash-back system works on being able to track (e.g. cookies) where people came from, and where they go. If you're still having troubles, maybe try resetting your adblock / privacy settings, or use a different browser.

    • Are you using Firefox or Brave? They both have some level of tracking protection.

    • Grab the app for your phone…it has its own browser built-in.

  • I'd be guessing from previous deals 12 midnight .

Toys and Games does not include video games, right?

    • +5

No there is a separate category for those.

  • Anyone knows which category pet food falls under??

Why? Surely not a healthy competion imo

    • Snapped 2 thanks dude

  • no electronics Audio, Amplifiers etc :(

  • Thanks for the post OP.

  • What happens if the order contains multiple categories, how would the cashback work?

    • Pretty simple maths, each item can only be in one category at a time so it just adds them up.

      • Have your done this before? Will ShopBack actually look at the order details and work out the amount which qualifies for cashback?

        • Yes, it just gets put as one transaction on your Shopback but it adds up.

    • Personally I do separate transactions if they're in different categories, just to make it "easier" for cashback

Don't forget this means you have to click through Shopback again for each separate transaction, as per their terms

  • Ah, been waiting what seems like forever for an increase, it finally arrives but excludes the Category I need :(
    [Office & Stationery]

Was hoping for one of those Site-wide ones, even if it's capped, I'll still get more out of it!

  • Some other shop needs a lego sale. Amazon is behind on their pricing

Amazon issued me a $15 credit for one of the items they messed up in shipping, however it's only valid for items shipped and sold by Amazon AU! WTF to buy????

    • 99% of the best deals on Amazon are fulfilled by Amazon AU, there's heaps of choices.I don't think the credits expires so relax.

If you have Prime you could order a few grocery items that you'd otherwise buy at Coles/Woolies.

    • Sometimes it is important to use your own grey matter upstairs. After a while, you get fast responses that are tailored to your preferences. A functioning brain is like having a google assistant built into your head. Cool hey?!

With CR they have a list of whitelist URLs to add to Adblock; is there a way to get the equivalent for Shopback?

  • +1

    That was quick :(
