Apparently can mop and vacuum and also works with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

I assume stock will be limited as it may be a discontinued product line but nonetheless a great price for what it does

Round front = fail. It will miss every corner in every room…

Note that the 610 is only recommended for "bare floors or low pile carpets"

  • Same one that sold out in "10 seconds" last time? Hope they have more stock.

  • Hows this compare to xiaomi robit vacuum? I have used xiaomi gen 1, im happy with that and looking to get this one.

Last time I went to four different ALDI store but found nothing in stock . Finally bought one from eBay with $399. It's so good to use and really worth money if $299

I managed to get one last time they went on sale at Aldi. Had to go in early. I found it quite basic and did the job ok.
Unfortunately mine lasted about 3 weeks before it started going crazy. One of the spinning brushes did not stop spinning even after turning it off. And while working it would spin out of control. Couldn't get an exchange however Deebot offered to repair it,but after doing more research in the meantime I decided to return it and wait for a Xiaomi special. The battery lasted just enough to give one pass to the first floor (townhouse), there was no scanned map of the house so basically it does all the flooring unless you place physical barriers which to me was a big minus.

    • How does it go with cords, dog/cat toys and tables/chairs?
My last gen robovac was great provided I ran around and lifted everything off the floor. It would also always manage to find a way under the dining table and never be able to get out due to the labyrinth of legs

      • It's good under tables and chairs, I don't think I ever had problems with it. Cords it once struggled to get out and when i came back it was stuck on them for god knows how long. I have a lot of cords and extensions around so I had to block them all out with some boxes. Because it doesn't map the house you can't select rooms/areas and create virtual walls on the app which is what I was after like the roborock or xiaomi. That way I don't have to do the harsh preparation everytime. Again, it does an ok for the price. I may have had a faulty one but I was told after a few years it would be hard to get replacement parts as they are phasing these out.

    • Thanks for your review. I’ve been tossing up getting a robot vac for ages.

Which xiaomi did you end up replacing it with, how much did you pay for that one and how is it better than the Aldi one?

  • DEEZBOTZNUTZ

  • Anyone able to compare this directly to Kogans R40 or R40 robovacs? The R40 is regularly on special @ $299, but I've been waiting for the R40 to come down in price as it mapping function seems alot better.

  • Surprising to see how many of these ran out the door at 8.30 on the morning

  • Anyone know if you can put bleach or floor cleaner in the water tank?
