Free season 1 of impulse on youtube free. Good show.
Free Youtube? Now I've heard everything.
Anyway, all Youtube Red-exclusive shows will be free after the 24th of September.
You won't get latest show instantly though, it will be staged release when it's released. Subscribers will get new show instantly when they release.
Finally the popup ads to try YouTube red will stop. No matter how many times I've skipped.
There are browser plugins to kill all that nonsense. I disabled them to use Cashrewards and Shopback, and forget to turn them on again until I visit youtube. I don't know how people can stand using youtube without them.
They were always free [cough]. ;-p
Why would anyone watch this crap?
Perhaps because it's a bloody good show!
I guess if I'd seen, read, listened, observed, played everything else that's in the classic tier, and my nas and other media had been destroyed.
I can see giving this a go
Yes, it was pretty awful. The constant 'bad men' is real eye-roll material. Even after the guy has been crippled it's full on guilt-fest. "Yeah - get deep into my -ahem - pants NOW, I'm a bad girl and I really want, want it, WANT IT HURRY UP and screw me, screw me, SCREW ME… Oh no, changed my mind when you're already half in - rape, rape, RAAAAPPPPEEEE - toxic masculinity alert - ahhhh!!! SNAP YOUR SPINE."
@GregMonarch: Umm.. K
Just cause it's the weekend, doesn't mean you skip your medication.
@iamhurtin: Haven't seen the show obviously, LOL. Or possibly too much soy milk. :-D
Impulse follows 16-year-old Henrietta Coles who discovers she has the ability to mentally move objects as well as teleport but has no control over her destination. The first time she realizes this, she is in a truck with her high school's basketball captain and star, Clay Boone, who tries to rape her. She has a seizure and teleports, in the course of which she inadvertently crushes him with her inherent telekinesis and teleports for the first time, leaving him a paraplegic. The show goes on to explore Henry's need to reconcile what her assaulter tried to do with the consequence, and her feelings about discovering she can teleport and psionically move objects from a distance, which are triggered by her feelings of fear regarding the assault.
The series was met with a positive response from critics upon its premiere. On the review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes, the series holds a 100% approval rating with an average rating of 6.67 out of 10 based on 9 reviews
Thanks for the info.
I watched this last year and I think it is a very unique and important addition in the superhero genre. Dare I say it is even better than Jessica Jones because Impulse discusses more socially relevant issues.
It's part of the "Jumper" (Book and Movie) universe.
