Went in to pick the Philips PerfectCare Azur Elite Steam Iron but this similar discounted Tefal model won the logical test, especially since I prefer manual controls to Philip's no buttons intelligent iron!

I'm looking for an iron atm. I dunno if a $70 tefal one will do the job. I won't be ironing much but i also don't like buying rubbish
lol at the negs. maybe I should've clarified that I was asking for opinions on the $70 ones.. as in, are they good or are they junk?
This Tefal is $139…
i wasn't talking about this one….. I was debating between something more expensive LIKE this one, or a cheaper $70 one.

I had one and gave it to the in laws when I bought a Texstyle 7 off here a few years ago.
What a blunder.
I reckon my old Tefal was at least 3 times better than the Braun.Just waiting for an excuse to buy a Tefal again :D
Used to have a steam generator iron GC7330 but that died. Tempted to go this Tefal (or the FV1849). Am only ironing shirts / trousers.
find me the best OzB item for this catagory to buy it now. :)
