  • Any suggestions on what to buy for $10?

  • Good for a gas bottle refill I guess… If you can use in store

  • Batteries?

  • +3

Worked out to be 10% not $10. Maybe get in before they realise if purchase is over $100. Otherwise wait and they might correct it.

    • Can also be combined with the $25 back from $125 spend (Amex Connect/statement credit offer)
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/476726

But yes, it's only 10% at the moment, until they correct the coupon parameters

From that free deal last year, received membership number, and their emails, but never was able to log into account or gain any benefit :-(

But with this offer, received email, logged in & got the code👍
Now to wait for discount to be corrected to $10.

I didn’t post this deal cos I tried it and it was only giving $1 off. Someone above mentioned it seems to be 10% off, so no deal.

Shame cos I have 13 accounts since their mix up.

    • +2

Tested my code and can confirm that it is 10% off, not $10.
OP may want to change the title to 10% off

      • Yep I just tried it too and it is a scam. The email says $10 but the code only gives 10% off.

never heard of this thing called BCF

  • Will this stack with the 20% sales that they have regularly?

Can I sign up to G'day Rewards right now and still get the offer?

  • +1

more people should complain to both bcf and G'day Rewards HQ about this issue so they need to fix it asap as email says clearly $10 valid until sept 28, just email them your code and email so they fix it.

i called up to complaint but she hadnt even heard of promo and offer to give me $10 credit if i gave them my coupon code but i couldnt as i was out and away from desktop

  • Has anyone used this for a purchase over $100 - is it possible it may have more value as a 10% voucher? I would suggest it would stack with any item on special.

    • +2

I used it to by this yesterday before it expired - link

For any purchase over $100 it was perfect!

      • so you got $35 off extra? i would say that is a win.

        • Yep I was stoked - I had been tossing up whether to buy it since it was posted, but that made me pull the trigger

  • +6

I raised this with g’day rewards and they have since fixed the issue so it should correctly be $10 instead of 10%

    • Thanks, updated.

    • Thanks👍 Confirm now $10 discount.

Wow, I just lost $50 by joining G'Day Rewards to get this $10/10% coupon.

I can't believe I fell for this as I assumed OzBargain would not post such a terrible deal and thought it would be a free membership!
Now I have to chase down a possible refund but G'Day rewards are not replying to my emails.

    • The Deal was for existing members.

Joining after emails were sent out is unlikely to qualify you for this Deal. That's common in many deals, unless it is a special offer for joining.

No where was free membership offered.
G'day Rewards Membership was free last year - a great deal for those members.

Negging a deal which you failed to read or understand is not a valid reason!

And why did you join up without reading costs of membership & then proceed with processing of the payment?? That makes no sense if you thought it was free!

It's up to Ozbargainers to determine if a deal benefits them (not likely in your case), ask questions in Deal (didn't ask), & proceed with caution (you certainly didn't do that!).

      • -2

Yeah yeah, I know but who would seriously pay $50 for this sort of membership and it wasn't clearly mentioned anywhere. It wasn't clearly the processing of a payment but yeah they got me!

        • If you try to sign up, it'll tell you it's $50 for two years… How do you miss

        • +1

who would seriously pay $50 for this sort of membership

You did without checking it out😉
Like many Ozbargainers - got it free in a very popular Deal (423+), so no - we wouldn't pay for it!

There are discounts on accommodation etc (it's primary selling point), has been membership to TGG Commercial site for more discounts, discounts like this…
Others must find it attractive enough to warrant paying for membership fee.

Mark it down as a bad day, request cancellation & full refund (they should have a cooling off period), if that fails - claim back the payment through the payment service you used, revoke your invalid neg, & move on.

This deal was never intended to attract new members, just discuss the $10 offer for existing members.
          Have reported as Targeted.
