It's a pie with chicken in it made by KFC, I wouldn't expect much.
Actually made by Mrs Mac's. Have been out a few years ago and we got to have them here in SA recently again. I think they taste quite nice but I may be biased

Zinger pie was good back a couple years ago. They've changed the recipe and it tastes like cheap, spicy chicken soup now. Was gona bitch and moan about SA not getting it but this is the one thing I'm glad we don't have now.

There are better fried chicken burgers out there but i would prefer the zinger burger over this pie!

Today is the first day of the release of KFC zinger pie, super excited. I ran to KFC & ordered the zinger pie meal box. Was told that their menu on cashier machine is not updated so they cannot charge me for that pie box for $11.25 (no such item on their machine). She said all she can do is charged me a 3 tenders box which is $11.35. I said I don't agree with that, she shouldn't charge me more. She then round and round by saying that [but it is only 10cent]. At the end she was not happy & gave me a 10cents coin from her cash drawer (so I guess her cashier won't be balanced by the end of her shift?). I also told her make sure I will get my pie even the receipt said 3 tenders box and she said sure. Long wait for almost 15mins, at the end I got a 3 tenders box! So frustrated, I try to explain to the staff at the pick up counter but he was confused by pointing I have ordered a 3 tenders box. At the end they need to re-do my order with pie. Please also note that I was very polite from the beginning til the end but the KFC staffs seems very annoyed. A very hungry and upset customer here.
P.S. 10cent is not much, but I am ozbargainer, should have that spirit!

Stupid seeing as it was completely their fault. She should have called her manager instead of putting through as tenders and promising the pie meal.
Tried today, quite possibly the most disgusting pie I've ever had in my life. Soft microwaved bottom, overloaded with a low quality gravy inside, and the fragments of ""chiken"" in it tasted more like fish than anything, but honestly it had so little flavour it was hard to tell. I can only imagine this is what Soylent Brown would taste like in a dystopian future of gruel-like ersatz food.
Would only recommend to UNICEF to had out to refugees in camps as basic sustenance and nothing more.
Had one today. Crispy top but bottom was all soft and soggy. Pretty flavourless. Prob wouldn’t get it again.
Get rid the pastry and give me a bowl of that zinger goodness.
