Just an FYI - in store and delivery prices for Oporto differs a lot

2 for 1 for delivery is $15.50 vs in store price of $11.25

    • +6

Makes sense, Doordash skims off the top

      • +1

Just like in the movie Casino…. Modern day mafia

      • +2

Idk the legality of saying it but doordash only takes 25% while uber takes 40%. I work in a family restaurant, doordash has way better support than uber. Uber just inflated because the name.

      • +1

Reject Shop have in-store prices on Doordash, minus the 10% surcharge of course. It's nice to browse Reject Shop on an app instead of walking around looking at all the crap.

    • Also the prices change from store to store

    • Yeah my local doesn’t charge more for pick up via doordash vs their own app or in store price so whenever there is a deal I can use pick up , doordash is better than direct

      • That's the case with 99% of stores. Mine also has cheaper rappas than others 2 for $10.95

  • Dinner sorted!

  • OPRAPPA is not for all wraps and only for Chicken Rappa which is an everyday offer till 6th

  • $15.50 total? After all fees?

    • +2

      for me +

      Service Fee
      A$2.84

    • $18 for me

  • +10

Overpriced burgers, not even worth it with the deal

    • +2

Agree. App mark up plus delivery. No deal

  • +4

Switched to pickup for my store and it gives the same prices as in store and no service fees.

    • Canceled mine and created a new order. 2 bondi double for 10.95 pickup. With delivery they were 16.95

Sorry for needing clarification. Just confirming that this code doesn't work in person or on the Oporto website if you choose pickup and pay online is that correct? This promotion is only available thru the dashpass on Doordash?

I understand this is actually pretty lucrative because without the discount, a burger is 11.25 which comes to $22.5 for 2 burgers in person pickup however you can get a free amazon trial with a free number from this thread here:

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/913301

then use that to get the free dashpass for 2 years (link in this thread)

and then you can get 2 burgers delivered for $15.5, 4 times which means you save delivery plus $7 each use, and 4 uses comes to a savings of $28‬.

just some quick maths for the OzB folk.

  • +1

They've been doing this for weeks?

  • By ordering two Halloumi Burgers at $11.50 each (regularly $13.45), you save $1.95 per burger via this deal…

  • Shouldn't postings have an actual price in the title?

    • +2

Look up a few comments and seems like prices differ store to store

  • -1

I’d be very weary of any delivery from Oporto of late, from a few stores across Sydney orders have been almost an hour from making and missing ingredients that you have to chase up with the store and most phone numbers don’t work

  • 2 Veggie Burgers - Total 11.25

  • +1

    Tried the bondi burger

Look liked had a lot of white sauce and red sauce but was a bit dull.

I thought it was bettrr back in like 2006

Next week gonna try the otropo

    • Actually might try the holumi one first.

Is it good compared to the rest?

I have a feeling it is

burger _________________ in store ___ doordash
    Halloumi & Chicken Burger _ $13.25 ___ $18.50 (+ 40%)

    Otropo Burgers __________ $12.75 ___ $17.50 ( +37%)

sick of companies with marketing considering their customers as stupid 1st graders unable to see how they add hidden delivery/service fee, then you are charged on top of that by delivery company, so you actually pay the normal everyday price.
    personally boycotting such companies

    • All food deliveries are such scams. It's only "fine" when it's 50% off. The food prices are inflated + service fee + delivery fee. And when you subscribe to their "premium" subscription, they graciously cancel the delivery fee but you still have to deal with service fee and inflated prices.

      • The premise of these food delivery apps is the convenience- and judging by how many there are out there it means there is appeal and demand from those demographic to make them somewhat sustainable.

I agree, however it's outrageous when you sign up for membership and yet have to pay "service" fee to "help keep the platform going" when they already inflate prices in app.

Just play the game and capitalise on promo offered that works for you.

Why can I not add two different burger flavours? Useless deal tbh.

  • +1

how on earth are two Bondi burgers normally $31.50 (+del +serv fees)…..who's paying that?

  • Thanks made couple of orders. I haven’t been to Oporto in about 10 years — do they still give you the spicy sauce for free, or do you have to pay extra now? Any tips?

    • +1

      no need to tip

      • i meant tip to get a free spicy sauce, lol :)

  • +1

thanks man! picked up and demolished!

  • 4 redemption per user for the entire offer period? If I used twice last week then I can only used 2 more times. Is that understanding correct?

    • +1

That is my reading of it.

      • Thanks for the validation.

  • +4

How do you do this pickup? whenever I try to redeem as a pickup order it doesn't let me.

    • Having the same issue..

    • Unfortunately, this promotion does not work for Pickup orders.

May be they have changed conditions

  • How are people picking up? When I select pick up, gives me the full price plus the code state it doesn't work for pick up orders

  • +1

    Cannot pick up. Delivery only.

  • $7.75 a burger is standard price?

  • Looks like they changed it, can no longer pick up unlike last week.

  • Yeah after the cheaper pick up option got removed, i went stuff it I'll make me oen burgers and good thing i did! Made some awesome burgers at home and kids loved em. I've removed Dashpass as well. $10 a month not justified for these shenanigans
