  With the 4MP POE camera, how is the installation?

  Just connect the camera with ethernet cable to the router?and plug into a power point ?

  I'm deciding between this or the 4MP wifi outdoor camera to monitor one side of my house.

    We haven't 4MP POE camera yet ,it's 2MP.

    This is a standard POE camera,you could connect it to a standard 48V2A POE NVR or a POE switch,it could be power up through an Ethernet cable,it doesn't need a power adapter.

  Does it have Australian power adapter?
  If I'm using it as a baby monitor, how will that alert me when the baby makes noise? Will it play the baby noise from the phone app and when the phone is in lock screen? Please explain this to me as this wasn't clear in the product description.

        Yes,you can use APP to talk with your baby anywhere from outside with internet.Don't need to be in the same network connected to the same router ,but at the first time connection ,we need to connect same WIFI.

        It support dual brand wifi 5ghz and 2.4ghz (But notice the camera only support 2.4G WIFI)

  I got this camera from the last deal, but sadly the device goes offline at least every few days. I never had such issues with my Xiaomi. I always have to unplug and plug it back to get it going.

    To be honest,I haven't tested the battery usage time when the recording video non stop.

    Below information is one of my techinical colleauge who test it and told me this.

    6000mA 2pcs 18650 rechargeable battery
    Battery Use time about 4 months (10 times trigger/day)
